Some of you are probably wondering how did he get the+6... There were certain books out there for a very short period of time that were hanging that number then they immediately dropped back to +5.5.
Washington Head coach Sydney Johnson missed last game against New York Liberty so I'm throwing that game out. He was at his daughter's graduation. With him on the sidelines Washington is 3-1 Ats as an underdog. (The one loss was by half a point) Every game that Washington has played in outside of the last game against New York Liberty has been decided by six points or less.
Indiana Fever is 0-2 SU and Ats without Caitlin Clark. I think the general public is underestimating how important she is to the team. It's like the Pacers not having Tyrese Haliburton or the Jazz not having John Stockton or Golden State not having Steph Curry...it really matters.
The oddsmakers Are starting to catch up a little bit with this but they haven't totally got there yet so there's still value fading Indiana fever Right now... I have this game power-rated Fever -2 so we're getting good line value.
My only concern is This is a revenge game for Indiana. They just recently lost at Washington so they're going to be extra motivated for this game today but This is the first Commissioner's Cup game for both teams this season so they're both going to bring it.
Final score 82-77. Mystics win outright.
2. Seattle -10
This will be Seattle's 2nd Commissioner's Cup game of the season. They lost their first game at home to the Las Vegas Aces by 5 points. Seattle doesn't need to just win the game they need to win by margin against a Dallas team without Paige Bueckers. Point differential matters in the Commissioner's Cup.
Dallas is 0-1 SU and Ats without Rookie Sensation Paige Bueckers. She's been very impactful so far this season. Avg. 14.7 ppg. 4.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2 steals per game. Paige Bueckers is the real deal.
Last game Dallas was at home against the Chicago Sky and looked horrible.
Seattle is off of 3 losses, so we should get an all-in Max effort from them today.
