My losing streak hit five yesterday despite being on the side of the team (CON) that spent over 39 of the 40 minutes covering the +4. But when the horn sounded they were down five and a loss for those of us on the Sun. Not necessarily a terrible selection but Mabrey shot 5/21 and clearly wants a trade so if one of the Sun’s two stars is disgruntled that is not good news for their team. On the flip side a gritty comeback effort by the Mystics. They will look to get to 3-0 with a winnable game at GS in a few days.
Minnesota looked good in the nightcap with another performance that suggests they really belong in the top tier of teams. We missed a classic Brutal play when the 2H under hit after a 90+ point first half. Spottie I think you got a 1H under though after the 55 point Q1? Nice hit.
Only one game left today and I don’t have a lean pregame.
SEA -3 at DAL, 166.5 - Recency bias would suggest the Storm will need time to get their offense together without Lloyd. And the Wings looked good in spurts on Friday so just take the points on a home dog right? Hmmm I’m not sure. But I don’t want to take the Storm again and lose with another ridiculous outcome. Maybe a slight lean to the over as Dallas pushes pace and Seattle gets right offensively against a bad Dallas defense. No type of result would shock me here.
