Do the Sky go for 9 straight covers?
Mercury not favored against the Valkyries?
Some interesting questions posed for tommorow

@Digitalkarma
Sky/Lynx game is interesting.
L10 Sky 8-2 ATS and went over their TT 9-1.
Lynx #1 rated offense/defense.
Lynx 7th game in 12 days (brutal) with 2 b2bs but Sky 5th game in 9 days and 1 b2b also tiring.
Sky won SU as 11 point underdogs, line opens -10.5 same place as last game.

Hate to lay a double digit number but I think the Lynx are the correct side. The line move went up a half point -10.5 to -11, so I will jump on it now. Lynx tend to bounce back big off a loss or do just enough to earn the cover. Two close games vs the Sky this season perhaps they blow this one wide open
Lynx -11

Mercury's first time at the Bay. Valkyries off a loss and in revenge mode losing to Mercury earlier. I think it will make a difference not having Sabally and Copper with them on the road.
Valkyries -1(-105)

FWIW: There was no official play associated with this but, I saw the following posted on Wunderdog's site today. BOL.
Chicago and Minnesota have met twice this season, and both times, Minnesota was a huge favorite. Last time out, Chicago pulled off a huge upset, winning 87-81 as a 12-point underdog. That brings us to this game. Teams like Minnesota, which are double-digit favorites and are avenging a loss to this opponent in which they allowed 85+ points in that loss, are just 17-39-2 (30%) ATS.

Thanks for sharing. While I do think the Lynx are a bit overrated, I think they are in a good spot off a loss in which they have covered every game so far.
- They lost their first game and beat Sparks at home by 28 following game
- Off a loss, they beat a good Dream squad on the road by 4, covering by a hook
- Off a loss, they beat the Sparks again on the road by 9, covering the spread
So which classification do the Sky belong to? Are they in the same class as the Dream or the Sparks? It's safe to say they are a middling team like the Sparks are.
Lynx are a team that can go up by 20+ and ease up in the 4th quarter making a backdoor certainly possible. I project the Lynx to go up by 20 but win by 13. I think the betting consensus will be on Sky today for obvious reasons cuz they've been hot lately against the spread and remember what they saw a few days ago and they're at home again.

Interesting. I saw a very similar query that says Lynx cover I think it was 70% of the time but the difference you mentioned was giving up 85 points. I guess I would need to know more about the timeframe. I like that it’s one day later. Everything fresh for the Lynx and they haven’t travelled.
DK mentioned they’ve covered every game off a loss this year. Like that.
I went back and listened to the post game conference. I think the Lynx bring it early.
bol either way

I decided to lay off the first game and instead took a flyer on laying the -1.5 with the home team in the nightcap instead. BOL to you both tonight.
