The Valkyrie played the game of their life on Saturday. Letdown factor is realistic but let's face the music, they won't replicate 48% shooting and 36% from 3 pt land that they unleashed against the Aces. However, one thing that stood out to me when watching them play was the hustle and unselfish team basketball in a team that lacked star power. It has been showing up consistently in their rebounding and defensive stats. They'll hustle for the loose balls and get back quickly on defense to make up for their below average offense. That was the first time I've seen the Valkyrie on live TV and I was impressed.
I like a team that will fight for my money. Valkyrie can build on thieir last victory and follow up with an encore. May not be perfect but I think they will do just enough to cover and possibly get another win on the Sparks home floor. Right now Valkyrie is the better team and still not getting enough respect
