I understand how bad this Connecticut Sun team is. I know they haven't won a game yet. I know they're getting blown out like every game but I do see value in them today.
I also understand this is Stephanie White 's old team that she coached and I know Indiana's off a Lost so they're probably going to be extra motivated today. Indiana wants to show the world that we can win and dominate without Caitlin Clark but the commissioner's cup is about to start. And who do they play first? Oh The Washington Mystics who they just lost to.
I do believe Indiana will be focused and motivated today, but I believe The Connecticut Sun will also play with great passion today.
I don't believe Indiana without Caitlin Clark should be laying double digits to anybody.

Why though? Very curious. I agree with everything you laid out in terms of motivation for Indiana, but aside from “hungry for their first win” I don’t see much reason to side with Connecticut here.

0-4 team that will start putting in together one of these games and why not against a fever team that lost its star. Before Clark what were the fever? Sure they have more pieces but now before the cup series or whatever its not a game the Fever need.
the Fever are not a complete elite team yet and laying this many with out Clark makes them a middle team and -12.5 is way too much
