Most of you probably missed my thread last Thursday... but here it is again:
“If you can’t spot the sucker at the Sportsbook within the first 30 minutes, then you’re the sucker.” – nooo3putt
I’ve been on this site for a few years reading articles and getting some pretty good entertainment from threads about rigged games and essays of explanations about who to pick (Note: Please fade all these clowns). I’ve been making picks since I was 12 years old, having my dad play $2-$10 3-game parlays for me on Proline – occasionally taking a $50-$100 payout. My addiction (and love) for sports and betting started off with NHL and MLB but we all know those sports are for the whales – NBA, NFL and college football is where the big money is and where the sharks, like myself, show up to play.
I'm your 20-something year old from Canada trying to be the next Ace Rothstein. I built my roll to $5K from $100 a few years ago, just to lose it all when I started betting out of my limit. I was in the hole about $10K before I made it all back in NBA and NFL 2 seasons ago. Shortly after, I was able to get staked for $5K and took another $5K of my money to Vegas, just to lose it all again to the books (I came home with around $2K in my pocket). Another year of grinding and I was able to get out of the hole and currently have a roll around $7K (Thank the Lord for a Bronco Superbowl win… my roll was on Peyton to win and drive off in the sunset).
Being Canadian, I have the luxury to shop for odds between my bookie, Bet365 and Sports Interaction. My plays are minimum $300, upwards of $1500. My picks are purely based on an algorithm I’ve created myself, mixed in with some gut feeling plays. Like it or not, I’m a winner in NFL and NBA… keep following my posts if you want to make $$.
I’ve seen numerous posts about guys wagering stacks and just running their mouth with no proof - time to separate the boys from the men. My picks will be free up to Week 4 and I guarantee >70% win rate.
Anyways, check my IG to see how I turned $500 to over $1500... all thanks to covers.com.
1) Article on how the sharps pounded Texas Tech over Arizona State. The line opened at -4 for ASU and turned down to +1 thanks to the public and "apparent sharps". Note, real sharps wouldn't take this best.
Easy in play $500 bet ML turns into $900.
2) Some clown (I'll find his username later) wrote an essay on how Bears might win straight up against Houston and how that line was way too high. Easy fade for myself.
Parlay HOU ml and SEA ml ... $900 = >$1500
Haters can hate but I'll let my picks do the talking.
