*OFFICIAL NBA CHASE PLAY*

ORLANDO +15 GM2 of 3 (system says recover losses only)

(sometimes I try to profit at least a half unit or 1 on a 2 unit chase that got changed on GM2 as this one did but I'm following the advice today, up to you).

There has only been one time that an NBA play has lost on advice to recover losses only. After Buffalo lost on GM2 last night in NHL I am being careful.

The chase pirate added a play on LA Clippers last night. I missed it and don't see it posted here. If anybody can check his twitter after I sign off that will help some people especially if it wins! He's won many times on GM1.

Note: When the Hawks host the Kings in a non-conference clash, Atlanta will look to rebound from a disappointing 13-point home loss to Miami on Wednesday after the All-Star break.  That sets the table for tonight fray as our database notes the Hawks are 7-0 SU and 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games on their home floor off an immediate home defeat.

Atlanta is also 5-0 SUATS off a double-digit loss in games against Western Conference foes this campaign.  With the Kings an obliging 1-5 ATS in games off a SUATS loss in non-conference clashes this season, we'll stay at home with the Hawks here tonight.

The Rockets are 12-1 SU and 10-2-1 ATS versus the Nets, including 9-0-1 ATS when Houston is off a win.

The Chicago Bulls were downright embarrassed last night at the United Center, scoring just 67 points in a blowout loss to the Miami Heat. The Heat are playing on another planet right now. These are professional athletes, and when they get one "stuck in their face," they more often than not come back motivated and hungry. Teams off an ugly loss where they scored 68 or fewer points cover 59.2% of the time coming back the next night. Normally an opponent heading to Charlotte may be in for a letdown, but that won't be the case tonight. The Bobcats' home-court advantage is non-existent as they are 17-41 ATS in their last 58 here. Go with the Bulls.

NASHVILLE ML over Vancouver, OT included. We mentioned yesterday how Vancouver is just not the same dominate team we’ve been accustomed to seeing over the past decade. They subsequently went out and defeated the Stars in Dallas but it was not because they played a strong game. They came out rather flat and ended up scoring four goals on 22 shots on rookie Christopher Nilstorp. That’s not going to happen on Pekka Rinne and the Predators. The Canucks will now play their third road game in four days and their fifth game since last Friday.

Nashville is not the team you want to play when you’re fatigued. They are a relentless fore-checking club that keeps coming at you the same way with all four lines. At home, the Preds have just one regulation loss and the best news is that the offense has started clicking with 14 goals scored in their past four games. Rinne has a 1.67 GAA, three shutouts and a save % of .935. These two clubs are very much on par with one another but if this game were being played in Vancouver, the Canucks would be -130 favorite. Vancouver is now in a difficult scheduling assignment, they’re on the road and the books have made the game a near pick ‘em. That’s true value on the host.

 The Golden State Warriors (+3) are showing us some solid value as they host the Spurs tonight. San Antonio played just last night, on national television no less, easily taking care of the Clippers in LA. Golden State enters this game off of a full day of rest, after snapping their 6 game losing streak on Wednesday. We fully expect the Warriors to bounce back strong in the second half of the season. In that 6 game losing streak, it's worth noting that the Warriors played 5 of those games on the road where they're just 14-16 on the year. And all 6 of those games were against good teams (Grizzlies, Thunder, Jazz, Mavericks, and the Rockets twice). The All-Star break was just what the doctor ordered to stop the bleeding, as Golden State hit 48.3% of their shots in their last outing including 50% (4 of 8) from down town. Now the Warriors are catching points on their home court, where they're 17-7 SU. The Spurs do outscore their road opponents by 5.2 PPG this year. But the Warriors outscore their visitors by 4.4 PPG. And, Golden State is 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 home games when hosting a team with a road winning percentage of .600 or better. San Antonio is just 5-10 ATS when playing good offensive teams, averaging 99 PPG or better. And, the Spurs are just 2-4 ATS in their 6 games that had a posted total of 210 or higher. This looks like another "buy low, sell high" scenario tonight at the Oracle Arena. We'll gladly take the 3 points and the Warriors, on their own court.

Norm, I'm going to stay neutral on the SS as the decision is ultimately up to you. You may want to check with twitter followers also. I know you put in a TON of time keeping it up. I will be honest and say that I don't check it everyday because I don't have the time. I would certainly understand if you decided to stop.

Nashville got skunked 1-0, can't win if you don't score. If you said they would hold Van to 1 goal at home I would have said winner. Would have been a nice under play!

Nice night for you Angle . I went 5-0 with Hou Atl Ind Okc and the Preds under . Mark Lawrence free play today is Clemson +6 @ Maryland . He says they are a live dog. It is a Noon eastern start time guys and I don`t know if Angle will be up yet to post it .

Factor in Brownell's 18-8 ATS effort as a conference dog off a SU loss and you don't have to be Stephen Hawking to know our money's on Clemson here. Tigers get physical and restore the roar in today's high noon showdown.

Wash/Hou under 209 The under is showing us good value at the Verizon Center tonight. Both of these teams played fast-paced games just last night. The Rockets took care of the Nets in Brooklyn, 106-96. The Wizards upset the Nuggets at home, 119-113. Brooklyn outperformed their average road numbers of 102.5 PPG. Washington outperformed their average home numbers of 96.6 PPG. The under is a solid 7-1 the last 8 times these two teams played each other. Given that they're both playing without any rest, we like the odds of both teams to slightly underperform their season averages tonight. Houston's road games average a total of 204.5 PPG. Washington's home games average a total of 192.6 PPG. The last 10 times these two have faced each other, they've averaged a grand total of just 188.2 PPG. The under is 7-1 in Houston's last 8 games against a team with a losing record, and it's 13-8 when playing on the road with a posted total 205 and 209.5 points this season. The under is 4-1 in Washington's last 5 games against a team with a winning record, and 12-3-1 in their last 16 when playing without rest. Plus the Wizards starting 5 were on the court for well over 160 minutes last night, and the under 5-1-1 in their last 7 such situations. We'll gladly side with the under tonight in Washington.
