Everything came back online - they were able to reroute the traffic until the new switch it in place. Becareful with today's plays as the server was offline for over 8 hours and missed a TON of line moves

Looks like all is well for a little while - hear it will be back offline about 4:00 for 15-20 minutes. If that happens I'll post the latest picks it has here so everyone can get them.

Ok everyone back to business. We have a few pretty big plays coming up tonight in the NBA (69%) and NCAABB (59%). The play in NCAA basketbal has hit at a 80% rate - so should be a nice payoff if it can hold true tonight.

After going through the lines after the games last night there are two that stand out that should not have even been plays.
1) Wisconsin -21 - when we reran the pick system it came up as a no play. I'm not sure where the pick came from.
2) Utah Over 207.5 - it tracked line movements and had them going the wrong direction. For example, the line went from 208 to 207.5 and it was scored as 70 BUT it set the OVER as the direction. That is completely backward - you can verify this by clicking on the pick under History and look under Line Trends. It has it highlighted.
I'm thinking we should have something that let's the users know that all the line moves were legit. For example, I went through the Bucks game and Cal Poly Slo last night, loved the line moves and ended up being the only two games that I played. Would you be interested in us doing this for all the games it's going to play to be sure the line movements are legit? It takes some extra time, but I'm thinking it would be beneficial in the end.
We ended up 4-4 last night (-$40) but the biggest bet of the night (the 80% winner I have above) covered easily as Cal Poly Sol +26.5 lost by 6 to SDSU.

I think that would be a great idea. I really liked that the strongest play of the night, Cal Poly Slo, ended up being such an easy winner. The text service is very handy to use and super convenient.

Something I have noticed veripicks is it seems the handicapping business has little diversity! I see no afro or hispanics in this industry.what do you think veripicks?

capper70 - I asked Veripicks and it says that based on current statistics you are correct. It wanted me to let you know that in the next 5-10 years there is a 1-5 chance the top handicapper in the business will be African American or get this... Brazilian. No idea where it get's the information from, I just deliver it.

Yeah we got overwhelmed tonight another reason we had to cut back on users, there are still a few things that are available to everyone like viewing picks from forums posters. We will soon get this onto a much larger network with redundant machines - coming probably after the new year.

I mentioned this before, but if one of Veripicks plays covers the first half then you should play the opposite second half. I'm going to try and track and few of them tonight and see what happens:

We had a $1,500 ML bet on Toronto and $500 on Toronto -1.5 (+235). Those two games alone netted us over $2k in profit and were two exceptional games for us, our bets usually are not this big.
On to the system, it went 5-2 (71%) +$415 if your a $100 bettor. Just look at the front of the site, it shows you how much you would be up if you wagered this amount on all it's plays.
