-Pacers -4.5 and under 196

pacers play down to sub.500 teams at home but they come to play against over .500 teams at home(6-2 ATS).coming back home from any road trip(1 game or more) they are 10-0 SU and 8-2 ATS.Rockets have been playing like crap on the road, i believe the pacers defense will come out on top here.

You want to see what happens when Miami toys w/ a team? Watch the GS game from the night before when they blew out the Warriors by 30. Oh wait. I thought games start at the 10 min mark of the 4Q? I guess the Heat didn't get the memo before the Warrior game.

It's weird. You have great insights and strategies about NBA betting and then you make weird comments about NBA stars throwing games or the Heat being able to win 4 on 5. It's like reading L. Ron Hubbard and agreeing w/ some stuff about self-awareness and getting to the part about aliens coming to Earth millions of years ago and thinking

I think he was being serious. I don't know what to make of it.

But whatever. I'm glad he took the time to start the thread. It has a lot of value. It's one of the few where people share their worthwhile thoughts and ideas about NBA picks rather than aimlessly trolling or fellating a capper.

Both teams have played five games in the last six seven days. The Pacers allow too much 3s, but with Houston tired they'll certainly not be able to enjoy their usual success rate at it.

Thanks - you right - should read 54-52 instead of 50-47. But the money wise it's exact. Simply did not add the parlays numerical record at some stage. Thanks. And in the next record post that correction will take the place.

Creating interesting and dramatic sports viewing experience is a cornerstone of Sports Entertainment business which is based on a constant increase it viewers and developing markets. We are betting on sports and that angle is lost on us since we only value NBA by our wins or losses columns. Because of it we often ignore the beauty of Charlotte coming back miraculously against Miami (yet to happen) because all we will see in that perspective that Miami simply handed the game out to Charlotte. It is only entertainment and part of that big entertainment business is betting on sports as well which increase the number of the viewers being exposed to the ads, t-shirts and all the attributes of that business. That is called - good business. It is like Lin in the Knicks and now in Houston - who is the gate to Asian markets. There are many professionally written white papers on that subject and even in youtube you can find many investigative reports on the subject. But we, don't like to be exposed to information that will make our viewing and betting experience less fun. Same as we don't want to hear the other "uncomfortable" truths about the things surrounding us daily or happened historically. That is our nature. I never said and will never claim that the sports are fixed as I will leave such claims for the losers justifying their losses by it. I never saw any moneys moving from hand to hand. And I assume I will not see it neither. But I also will not call when someone is pissing - that it is raining. That is all. I don't believe in conspiracy theories but rather in necessary chains of events to make peoples life more tolerable and our betting experience more enjoyable.

I think that what happens is the same as in soccer in Europe. No one wants to see a league/or a sport that the same team wins over and over again and crush opponents...it's fun for a while (example of Barcelona) but then it gets old and it drains the fans enthusiasm. Barcelona lost last year to Real Madrid and everybody in the end smile even the Barcelona players, staff etc, bcs it got the attention of the entire world to the "amazing" league they have!

Ajax (Holland) won 10 or 11 times in a row the national league; now they are suffering the consequences. Their teams were crushed almost every single game on the European competitions; result of lack of competitiveness of their national league!

With that said, I guess every nba capper or fan knows that Miami is miles away from the competition when they play focused/motivated and maybe just maybe only OKC and LAC can give us all (fans) a good show on this year finals.

Conclusion: No sport with long seasons (soccer, baseball, basketball) grows (economically) if there is a team that's unbeatable or wins 90% of their games!
