I made a small cashout trying to use the Money Transfer for $100 and they gave me the BS story about i need to put money in several times that we to use that so now its coming in the mail that was 9/5 so I will update also.

I am today or tomorrow cashing out the rest and have already deposited at Bookmaker. yes they have some small fees (with one free mailed checkd a month, they say it takes about 10 business days, we will see) but you get money quicker. If anyone is switching there or already has let me know how it is. Thanks NUK

I have Bookmaker and TheGreek.  With Bookmaker, you can get a FREE Moneygram pay out every 30 days if you look at the reading closely.  Yes it takes 7-10 business days to get it but you will get your money.

odog is the biggest joke of a site today.  I just talked to them and asked how long payouts take by check and the response was I need ur account number.  I said so it matters who u are on how long a check will take to get to me.  First they said yes and then said no.  I said well then how long does it take.  Still no answer.  What a joke they are and no one should ever deposit to this washed up site who will never pay anyone.

I have been a long time member on bodog and I use the Western Union money transfer with no problems... Actually, last time I cashed out, I got the money in a matter of hours. The site is starting to go downhill though, I am probably going to switch sites at the end of the month. Bottom line, if you cash out of bodog via check, you are in a for a long wait. If you have been a longtime trusted customer their payouts only take a couple hours.

Unless you made a deposit any other way, then you have to do the 40 day check thing.  It has nothing to do with being "longtime trusted customer"

My friend just sent them $100 and they said that wasnt enough to verify him for payouts thru western union. I was able to gain their trust with $100, why wasnt he able to? Western Union seems to work great for me. I dont see why everybody doesnt use it. Getting a check sent is stupid, If checks were the only option for payout, I wouldnt play at all. I did it once, the first $50 I made, like 5 years ago... Bodog is going to crap anyways, I'm bailing at the end of October.

Me too, I always use Western union and never had any problems usually I get my payout information within a few hours.

I used to do checks but that took too long...I deposited a couple times via western union and now I can get my payouts there at will.

As long as you deposit a couple times with WU and wager that money there shouldnt be a problem

bodog is awful IMO. I used to use them for years and they were quite good and would pay you in less than 10 days. About a year and a half ago, they went to shit. 3-4 months for payouts. Sounds like things haven't changed. I used to spend so much time on the phone angry at them waiting for payouts and they had every excuse in the book. "new system" yada yada yada. Here it is over a year later and they still haven't adjusted it sounds like.
 
I left them for good when I finally got fed up and got my last payout probably the end of the 2007 NCAA's. I switched to bookmaker and my most recent payout I ordered after a Monday night game two weeks ago and received it on Friday.
 
Too bad about bodog. They were good for awhile but fell apart. I'd imagine they lost a lot of long time, good customers like me.

i too have had these problems in the past going back to 2007.  Not sure why I stayed with this site but I called this morning to request a payout of $1000.  Today 9/29/2008 is day #1.  Let the countdown begin to day # 40.  I'm sure that this will be a long painfully drawn out blog by me extending sometime past the superbowl.

I requested a payout on June 22nd. I made one phone call to Bodog @ day 46. Day 54 I received the check, plus an extra 16 cents in interest and it cleared.

Hopefully these new gaming laws will allow all books to be better operated. I love Bodog's software and underdog lines, but am currently no longer with them.

Good luck to everyone trying to get their money. I think you should get it, but just have to have patience.

two check requests pending right now. OCtober 1 day  1 and Sept 5 day 18. I expect the first around halloween and the second by xmas which is perfect timing

 I haven't requested a payout for awhile for obvious reasons but after reading this thread I won't be depositing any more money to bodog thanks for the heads up don't need that bullshit. The U.S.  customers are getting screwed unbelivable

Bodog seems to be good. The check has cleared now and we are two weeks into it.  The process is slow and painful but in the end they were true to their word that " You' ll get paid". So, again, I apologize to all the shit I gave those poor people on the phones.
That said, this seems a business that is doomed to fail with all the hassle of getting paid. Only time will tell.  Good luck to all those people waiting to get paid and I would still be wary of sending them any new money.

not sure if i made a mistake  but I cashed our about 1500 and left 200 in to play with. should i have just cashed it all out? I am just finding that sometimes the lines are better than that of bookmaker or 5dimes my other 2 books. oh well we will see

it took me 23 days to get a pay out from bodog life back in march madness . never put another cent on there nor will i . started playing on players only got a little bank roll going cashed out $500 and got it deliverd to my door in 3 days by DHL. lighting fast pay outs for real go to PLAYERSONLY youll be glad you did.
