76ers at Lakers -5.5 1H LOCKED (X1)
Coming of dismal loses to the Bucks, Heat, and Spurs, the Lakers made a significant line-up change and decided to start Andrew Bynum. This greatly strengthens LA as Odom is much more effective as a 6th man and Bynum as a starter. It showed as the Lakers blasted the Hornets in New Orleans. The Lakers already won earlier this year in Philly as they sleepwalked through 3 quarters and then flipped the switch against the inferior 76ers and DESTROYED them in the 4th. Don't expect a slow start this time around as the Lakers want to show their home crowd they are BACK. Look for the Lakers to come strong out of the gate and cover the 5.5 first half spread.

Lakers have come strong out of the gate.  THE BODY is loving the twin tower lineup.  Let's hope the Lakershow can hang on for one more quarter!

NO at Washington -1.5 LOCKED (X2)
Following a nice win in Boston, the Hornets look to string together their first two game road winning streak of the season. Thus far, the Hornets have been shaky on the road. They lost big in Minnesota on Monday and followed that by being blown out by the Lakers. But not so fast! After the Lakers game, a team meeting was called after Ariza questioned their toughness publicly when addressing the media that night. The meeting centered around the issue that they were a "soft" team. The Hornets responded beautifully with a big win in Boston. The TWolves road loss is still very fresh in their memory and they will be very aware NOT to let this happen again (lose to another bottom feeder). The Wiz struggled mightily in Indiana yesterday and have lost EVERY back to back game this season. The momentum and the mission of this road trip will be enough for the Hornets to pick up the W in Washington.
