Preface: Have been riding with the Giants since Week 15. Truly remarkable, what they've done.
Yet when Bill Belichick last had two full weeks to prepare, the Pats went into Buffalo (admittedly an offenseless more so than defenseless team), and clobbered the Bills, 56-10.
Weather isn't a factor Sunday, which it has been for the last six of seven, where New England hadn't covered.
There's too great an aerial arsenal at Brady's disposal for the Giants (still) wounded secondary to compete. Eli Manning will still have stars in his eyes; whereas, Brady has been to the big show before - and wins.
Not recalling just when an AFC team placed a whoopin' on the NFC - or not since Marcus Allen and the Raiders tore up Washington, 38-9.
This one is an easy over, for the Giants will have some sympathy scores, when the contest doesn't matter any longer.
The spread is just right, at -12.5, - do not follow the Judas goat that is Joe Public placing money on the Giants.
New England wins this by 14 for certain.

When things look too easy, it probably isn't Over looks easy but:
- giants could/should slow the game down by running right down the middle with the tank (jocobs) controlling the line of scrim and clock
- pass rush will get to brady, strahan and omu will make sure of that, how many i don't know - Giants chance of winning depends on this
- vegas usually jacks up the total knowing that the public likes to bet over, last time they played the total went 73 who da heck is gonna bet under.....

difference - had the Patriots played the teams with a winning
percentage and had the same record, I could probably agree that their
on-field talent is impressive and likely the best all-time. Their
schedule this year was considerably easier than most other teams.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Huh? You said the exact same thing the other day, and we told you why this is a ridiculous statement. Do you not read the responses to your own posts?

Hi SeLLerS, yeah i was able to get his pick for free last year, he kind of leaked it out in a interview he did online. I was on board and did well with Steelers two years ago and Colts last year. I thought this spread would have been close to 17 when the matchup was set. You remember Vegasinsider had lines up in Nov - Dec and it was NE - pts vs all the possible NFC opponents and back then they had NE -20 vs NYG, I'm looking at -12 as great value. And Plax just gave this team all the reason to run the score up if they can. Good Luck any thoughts on the Ov/Un?

Amazingly enough, I saw a poll yesterday where the public actually thinks the Giants will not only cover, but win outright. It was 51%-49%, but still this is amazing. People can talk themselves into almost anything it seems.

GL to you too my man.....the Pats could certainly just destroy them......I just gotta stick with the Giants.......with a great pass rush, solid run game(that Bradshaw kid didn't play in the first meeting with the Pats) and a very underated and spurned QB. Wow that is one convincing arguement made in that article.....Over the past week I have changed my mind about the outcome of this game. I had originally thought the Giants would keep this one very close with the Pats squeeking out a victory in the final few mins. I think the final score will be the Pats by 2+ TD's. I am basing this tought on a few things but mainly giving Belichik 2 full weeks to prepare. I believe that they will throw things at Eli that he has never seen before and on offense they will actually be able to throw the ball deep for the first time in weeks due to the weather. I also dont think it was very wise for the Giants to run their mouths all week long in AZ to the media about how they are going to win this game.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi and thanks to all my friends on here..
well... we're 2 days away from the last game of the season and my last chance to gamble till fall.. so i figured i throw my 2 cents out there for whats it worth.... been on crazy year in football both college and pro... congrats to both the pats and the g-man for making it this far... here how i see this game... imo it comes down to two things.. a game of thetrenches and a game of mistakes.. can the giants get enough pressure on brandy to force him to make quick decisions, dump the ball off or force a few throws?? because if they can't, moss and stallworth will have a great day against that below average giants secondary.. and can eli continue to play mistake free football.. my answer is yes... the giants front four will give the pats o-line all it can handle in this game.. remember, although, they only sack brady once in the game back on week 17, they hit him many times, 8 or 9 i believe.. SD mistake last week was it fear of blitzing brady.. giants do not have to deal with this problem thanks to their ability to rush just four and still get to the qb... this will like them play 7 back and reduce the damage that pat receiving corp can do... i can see brady throw at least 1 int in this game due to the good rush that he will be facing.. on the other side of the ball we got eli.. how will eli deal with the pressure trying to lead his team against the pats and can he play mistake free... imo eli will pay well enough team them in the game.. probably not mistake free but he will be able to manage the game.. look for the giants to pound the ball with jacob and bradshaw in this game to control the clock, keep the pats o off the field and keep the pressure off eli... i do believe that the weakness of this pats d is their run d.. look what SD did againt them without LT... and remember eli is most effective when he does play-action... look for giants to be in alot of 3rd and short situation with all the running they can do.. and look for eli to come up big on those 3rd downs...
Phew that was long.. anyway.. after considing all this.. imo 12.5 is just too much to give to a team that has been on fire, and matches up pretty will against the pats.. the ability to run the ball and rush brady will be the diference here.. hate to say it... but pats go undefeted this year... but i think they giants cover this spread in an under game....

Actually been busy with work and spending time with the family but all in all it's all good.

Brady had 3 picks last game, had Eli had 3 picks it would be the talk of the town. Face it, Brady gave up the booty. The Patroits game plan is to wait for Eli to give away the game, guess what? TB, Dallas and GB are still waiting. All the Pats have is a passing game, if that fails can't go to a awsome running game, don't have a 1985 Bear's defense. The pressure is on NE, they got to win. I want the Giants to win, but the big kick for me was knocking Dallas out. If it was not for NY Dallas would be playing Sunday and that will keep me warm all year. Remember you are only as good as your last game, and the last game Brady gave the ball to the other team 3 times.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!
