The Super Bowl line was set with AFC-13 as a future well before the teams were decided. Pats were down 12 and still got the win in the first game, Moss has been missing for the last two weeks, Brady in a soft cast, all previous SB wins were by 3, etc, etc, etc.
NOTHING SAYS BET THE PATRIOTS BUT THE LINE IS DOUBLE DIGITS
Take your Patriots, enjoy the win & the season and make some money while you are at it. As much as I hate them and will continue to hate them, they cover this game easily. Think Niners/Chargers SB type of blowout.

Take the Giants as long as the spread is over 10....
I think the Giants have a legitimate chance to win this game....
RIDE THE TREND........... I tried to tell you guys last week but eveyone thought they would get beat by 7.5 in Dallas.....
this is a different team, 2 headed monster..............
they aren't relying on the pass, just pounding the ball and giving Eli the job of just not fuckin up...... he's not asked to carry the whole team like he was the whole year.......
Pats defense isn't that great..... they are going to pound Jacobs against that old defense and wear them down so bradshaw can run a mile against them.....

Really? Pats defense isn't that great? How did they do against the #1 rushing attack in the NFL with the Jaguars? How did they do against the Chargers last week? I do believe they were ranked somewhere around 4th in the NFL in Total Defense this year. Go ask the Chargers how good the Pats red zone defense is. The only reason the Pats defense isn't mentioned is because the offense was so ridiculous this season. But please check your stats before you post.

An inside track at the Vegas casinos is the push is to keep the spread at 12 or higher. Please note the record of the PAT's ATS this year. This is the big game. The only game. A spread at 12 is only to get people on board who think NY will have a chacne with 12 in the bag at kickoff.
If you are a numbers better then keep watching, see the numbers go from 12 to about 9 before the coin toss. Remember football fans, besides March maddness, this is the most bet on sporting event of the year. They know what they are doing behind that desk when you give them your money.

Article in USA Today today says 80% of the bets so far are on the Giants. The number will have to drop to balance that out, though I imagine a lot of Pats bettors are just waiting for just that, and I expect it will even out if it goes to 11. (Cue Spinal Tap quote: "this one goes to eleven.")

The difference in this game is the Giants are fearful of their kicker. When they get close to the goal line they have to be thinking TD not FG. Also on 4th and short will go for it.
I remember when Ali was fighting Liston, Ali came back to the corner and told Dundee, "i can't see, cut the gloves off", Dundee said there ain't no cutting the gloves off, this is the championship.

The more I look into this game the more my lean is changing from Giants plus the points to laying the points and taking the Pats. I dont like how the Giants players are starting to talk and say how they should have beat this team already and they are beatable.....Im going to go back and watch the first matchup again, got it on TIVO. Will post back about the breakdown.

Another hilarious post my friend!! Pats running into a buzz saw. That truly is classic. The Giants are in no way, shape, or form, a buzz saw. They played three very good games to get to this point. But do you at least think for a minute that the fact the Buccaneers couldn't come back in a game if their life depended on it, Tony person had another crappy performance and refused to go to the shotgun, and the fact that Brett Favre happened to have the worst game of his season had anything to do with them being here?? I respect what the Giants have done, and am very surprised that Eli has been able to go this far with no turnovers...but come on now. Maybe if the Giants won each playoff game by 30 points...they would be considered a buzzsaw. If anything, I would have to say that the team that's 18-0 this season is a buzz saw.

would the Giants stand up against the Pats? The Pats defense scares no
one. The one who i'am worried about is Welker. Much like Witten of the
Cowboys. I think slow him down and that offense is stuck.

You are right in the fact that the Pats defense doesn't scare anybody...they don't need to. They just show up to play every week and hold you to less than 20 points. Which is conveniently enough to win every single game. You can't teach experience...and that's what this team has. The Giants need to rely on Strahan who is well beyond his years and Toomer who is a 3rd WR for their inspiration this week. Those are the only two players on the team who have been there before. That is going to play huge difference. The Pats are the better team...and the better team wins in the Super Bowl. Period. End of discussion. Please stop the delusions and discuss your opinion on why or why not the Giants will cover the spread.

This game will come down to coaching and Bellichek is a friggin Genius! With 2 weeks to prepare no way he lets Eli and the giants put up 35 again. Plus with all the big game experience for the Pats,there gonna take this one. Im not taking anything away from the Giants they had a great run and made me some money doing so,but the road stops here! Im gonna have to tease the Pats down and be taking the under. I see a 10 point Pats win.
