Pats cover this one, that last time they played the Giants was a off day for the pats outside in somewhat shitty weather !!!!!!!! Don't forget the ravens were within 3 also... It happens...IMO superbowl Pats come to AZ. warm weather, fast field and ready to play and it will show, midway through the 3rd this one will be over, you will be done watching the game everyone at the party will be talking and the only thing you will want to know is the final score of the beating so you can check your numbers in the pool.......this line less than 14 is cool with me but I'll wait and see how low it goes....

Interesting call Since the Pats will be playing in a dome and the are a warm weather, fast field dome type of a team. The Giants secondary cannot hang with the Pats receivers and the Pats defense is playing very well, only 32 points given up in last two games. Plus you give bill and extra week to gear up and put together a game plan. This one shouldnt be very close. Ill stick with my bet at the beginning of the year on the pats and maybe a unit or two on them for the game. Let the spread keep dropping

THE PATS WERE NOT PREPARED FOR THE LAST GAME WITH THE GIANTS.IM SURE THEY THOUGHT THAT THE GIANTS WOULD START THEIR BACK UPS..WHEN THAT DIDNT HAPPEN,THEY WERE SOMEWHAT SHELLSHOCKED.....NOT THIS TIME,THIS IS FOR ALL THE MARBLES AND THEY WILL NOT ALLOW THE GIANTS TO HANG AROUND......
THE PATS WILL DESTROY THE GIANTS,THIS GAME WILL BE OVER IN THE 3RD QUARTER...

I would not be suprised to see the line go down to +10 for the pats. Why is Superbook, Sportsbook and Belmont not posting a spread yet? Are they worried about Tom Brady's ankle?
This is a tough pick. Seeing New England pretty much run the ball the second half and control the game and win. Eli Manning threw balls that should have been cought and wern't due the weather. That shouldn't be a factor this time. Is the kid going to falter in the Super Bowl? Or maintain his cool demanor and precision passing and management of the game, again?
Lat weeks games seemed pretty easy to pick. Not so this time around. Might look at ML and or tease.

People, the line being determined this early for the know it all's who sprint to make a bet on ego alone is what makes books so much money. Don't be in a rush. Think how much the Pat's want a goose egg in the L bracket.
Wait 1 hour before kick off then bet the farm on the Pats.

As for the game, the thing that should be most troubling to G-fans is that Brady had a subpar game vs. the S.D.
He always, and I mean ALWAYS rebounds with a big performace after a subpar game. Forget about the boot, he's playing w/ the paparazzi in NY. I think he will throw for about 340 yds. w/ 3-4 TD's and win his 3rd SB MVP.
The Giants have had a great run but the ride stops here:

I heard some interesting commentary on the radio describing how the first time you see Tom Brady and all his nuances (the subtle ways he creates space between the zones with shoulder pumps and pump fakes, the way he looks off the safety) you are very much thrown off. Likewise the first time you see Randy Moss run in person you are very much taken aback. The second time you see these things as a player you are much more comfortable with them hence the way the Jets played them close the second time around, San Diego played them close the second time around and even Miami played them close the second time around. The Bills of course are the exception to this rule as they lost by 46 the second time around.
Now the first go around between the Pats and the Giants we all know what happened 38-35. This was the game that gave the Giants the confidence that they could be a superbowl team. The Giants secondary has some first hand knowledge on Brady and Moss and all their intricate workings.
My early lean is that this is going to be a really good game maybe decided by a touchdown or less.

Before I give me input, I wanted it to be known that I am Giants fan. Regardless of that, I dont see how people figure the Pats to blow the Giants out. The last time they covered a line was 12/9/07, against a Steelers team we watched go down in flames. I understand the Pats have the big time play makers, but I just don't see a blowout. They have been beating people yes, but not but huge numbers. Case in point this weekened against the Chargers. They ran 9 minutes off the clock to win the game but not cover. The Pats are going to take the same approach against the Giants, all they want to do is ensure they score more points, no embarrassing needed. Giants cover, but Pats probably win. Gonna throw a few dollars on the Giants ML just for good measure.

Two questions I'd like to ask:
Do the Giants have a better running game than the pats? (Yes)
Do the Giants have a better defense than the pats? (Close but i think Yes)
Which two aspects of a team win Championships? Running and Defense.
But then I throw in the factor that the Pats have the best offense in NFL history and it throws the Giants Defense being better argument out the window...

* I'd like to throw in the fact that the Giants gave up 45 and 35 points respectively in their first 2 games, which was a different defense than they have now.
