Ten Year Update...

Dad reached his 90th birthday this year.  2007 remains the last time I took him to Fenway.  He just had pacemaker surgery and wants to go to a 2018 game.  Let's get through Spring Training first.  But yeah, I believe we have one more game to go Dad. Maybe these bums will WIN a game we attend.  Will keep you guys updated.

Dad turned 91 years old on April 1, 2018.

I have him in a retirement home and he and my mother (age 94) are roommates.

Not looking good for Mom.  But Dad is feisty as ever!!!

The Red Sox are having such a GREAT season I really want to get him to a game at Fenway.

LAST UPDATE:  My Dad passed on March 3, 2019.  Sadly, I never got him back to Fenway.  His health would not allow that to happen.  But I could and did watch several Red Sox Games together on TV.

There is nothing like being at the real game.  So if you can take your Dad out to a game then I would strongly urge you to do it soon and often.

Now i'm going to cry.

It's amazing to go through this thread and see people that have been outright banned and never returned or people that have left and never came back. This thread is in the Top Three here in my opinion.
