I remeber a time when I was about 13 years old, when my Dad and I couldn't agree on anything.
I thought everything he said was wrong, he knew nothing about life, or what was going on,,,he just didn't get it.....
The only thing we could talk about was baseball. We still argued, but, not as much.
Fast forward to when I was about 25....My Dad and I still talked baseball, but, now when I asked his opinions, they always seemed to be in line with mine.
I also asked his advice, and when I followed his advice, things turned out really well.
I remeber thinking to myself , " man, this guy is really special, and really very smart"
ONE THING STILL AMAZES ME TO THIS DAY.......
Just how much HE learned in those 10-12 years
