Didn't read through all of the thread, but... I would recommend paying ahead on your rent with some of the money you are taking out there so you don't have to worry about a roof over your head for a few months. Idk if you have ever been... but saying you will be smart with money when you get out there, and being smart with your money when you get there are 2 totally different things - if you have never been you will find out how quickly money comes and goes. I'm jealous in some aspects, others not so much. Best to you.

Going to be more selective out in Vegas as I will no longer be bored and disgusted at my job.. no excuses, but that was part of the problem with baseball last year.. betting every game in site... i still went 20 games over .500 even tho had a losing baseball year.
my winning %'s are not the problem... i always have a good win %. the bet amounts will be interesting in vegas.. This is betting for a living once i am out there 
Trust me you will be bored. What do you plan on doing all day other than capping? Boredom wasnt as much as an issue for me bc I was grinding 12 hour sessions of online poker atleast 6 times a week. Once online poker got banned by the government i moved back east as the boredom was causing me to wager on games I did not have an edge. Good Luck but I think you are in for an uphill battle.

I will be capping a lot bro. really planning out my attack each week with the games.. going to be much more selective and wait for games i really like. I love going to the gym so that will take up my time... before i know it, will be 4pm pacific and all the action starting... baseball on wednesdays and thursdays will be like a work day... 10 am pacific the action starts.. weekends will always be early days with the action starting at 9am..
also hang by the pool and the morning ill be talking to my milfs online. I am bored at work now to be honest..
I am so passionate about capping, even if i capped all day before the games that would be fun for me... but i got gym, cooking, pool time and milfs to keep me satisfied as well.

Don't encourage him!!! Does this 9 page opus give a running score of a MANIC DEPRESSIVE cycle? Several times cg talks about not being able to sleep and I believe him that he doesn't get alot of sleep.

Jerkfukk,from 1983 to 1991 I lived in LasVegas and make rent and board from the sportsbooks and if I ever saw loser that the books were going to grind to make their bread........I was posting to the other readers in making an observation that I will stand by about Mental Illiness.

Absolute- I am leaving multiple girls behind. My crazy old gf I see from time to time that I almost married saw her New Year's Eve for the three year aniversary from when we met. She cried when heard news I'm moving to Vegas. Got a girl in Queens I been seeing who did the same. Didn't wanna marry either one of them though. My main concern is betting I can't stress that enough to u guys. My old crazy gf and queens both going to visit. My mindset is I am still way to young to be tied down anyway. I am excited to meet new girls in Vegas. U should see the one I'm going to meet upon my arrival in Vegas from adultfriendfinder.. Tight tight bod. That's besides the point. Yea bling I couldn't find it at first either. I'm first name that pops up tho when u search "College Gambler". $1040 is a lot for Vegas but I want a nice place to live. Apartments have all good reviews which most for $850 or so had horrible reviews. I bet big numbers as it is now so out there will be more. Rent is the least of my worries if I stay hot like my football year

Also with me quitting my job, driving 40 hours out and starting a life in Vegas I wanted a top apartment. I mean $1040 might be a lot for Vegas but a shithole in jersey costs $1800.. Security deposit only $500 in Vegas too. Biggest thing is I know I'm gonna thrive so why not get a nice spot

I would have advised living in one of those 'monthly' motels that you can get cheaply on the North Strip (up by Stratosphere) or west of I-15 on Tropicana, etc. for a few months until he figures out cash flow. They can be found for like $500-600 a month. But in any event wouldn't expect to seeing him spend more than $750 on an apartment. Vegas's real estate market is in the tank and plenty of cheap housing. For under $1k/mo. you can rent a decent house in LV.
