I will say there was one hell of a lot of excellent information hidden between the craziness and the troll on troll sniping back and forth. Mostly in the first 100 to 120 pages or so, with nuggets mixed in the entire thread.
Someone does have a few of Hollywood's later videos on Youtube including COL (Career on the Line), Banned from Red Rock for Life (for life!) and a couple more. Search for Hollywood CG if interested.
I considered going over to Rx and checking it, but for now I just need this to settle in. The thread was engrossing, addicting, but also very depressing.
For anyone who reads the first page of the thread and then reads this, I do recommend spending the time to go through it. It can only make you a better gambler... because that is what we are. The earlier you admit it, the better off you will be.
and Bermax! Dude, I would love to kick back for a weekend, drink some good beer and shoot the sh*t with you. Knowledge, incredible sense of humor and dry wit... you got it all.
Took me a week to get through this off and on-- the videos were all removed except one with him (I assume it was him) spitting, and sloshing words talking about fading himself or something.
What a amazing story though. Lots of us jack our lives up at some point but at least he did it with no wife or kids involved when he was young. I can see him as a very rich in 10 years as he has extreme passion. Or of course dead also if he doesn't stop with the booze and drugs. I admire him going for it and getting the amazing action he got for a few months with an audience to boot. He lived a life we have all craved at one point in our lives and it was so very awesome to read about it. Cheers to you CG -- you are one bad mother who went for it. I would have been bust in 2 weeks or less-- depending on how long it took to get my 401k funds out.
