Anyway - it has been a wild ride - and I thank you for the entertainment and wish you as many good breaks in life that you can handle.  And I hope you can make it work out in Vegas.

The chances that CG does the right (sane) thing and goes home to rebuild his bankroll, his ego, and his life, are almost non-existent. 

In a short amount of time Vegas will have taken every last penny from Nick, and then, and only then, he will be forced into a tough decision.

Bankroll is gone. He's "sooooo humbled", again. 401K is next. And when that is gone, and it will be, it'll be giving sloppy bj's to support his various addictions. I'm so sick of good, intelligent people spending time on this guy. This is my last post in here, and unlike Goose I keep my word.

I wish him all he deserves and worse, and hope to see this thread dead as soon as possible.

Eh.  Some people choose to see the best things in others, and some choose the worst.  I guess you belong to the latter.

Everyone has flaws.  Nobody is debating that.  I just dont believe in black and white.

Maybe you are younger.  As I have aged, I have been able to look at myself when I was 28 years old (I think this is about what CG is) and know what a complete idiot I was - while at the time thinking I was a genius.  So I have some perspective.

If there's been one consistent theme in this entire thread, it's that he does not want to go back to his old life in Jersey.

And believe me, you do not want to come back to a paralyzed NJ buried under 30 inches of snow.

I guess we all forgot about the racist filled rants that got him banned in the first place.

Nothing screams 'outstanding citizen' like doing blow, hating your family, thinking you are better than everyone and dropping N bombs left and right.

Only on covers are those traits valued, and admired.

from an inevitably doomed fun time holiday/learning experience(if this is possible with college gambler) doing sumthing gratuitous just because ya can.....this may quickly turn into sumthing that has the potential to weigh him down for years to come if he is taking out loans to feed his addiction.

it truly is astonishing that he cant see the blindingly obvious folly of his ways....one way worked perfectly for him,working at home whilst doing gambling thru a bookie or online.and he made sum good coin on the side..this method he currently is using is flawed in so many ways and ya wud think he can see the negatives far outweight the positives(which are basically zero,well....maybe good weather??)

the absolute best idea for the dude is to go back home,work part-time..just enuff to pay bills and start saving a bankroll.and then build back up again....apparently he was on a very successful pathway doing it that way previously,which is more than can be said for most gamblers.
