Anyone who flips out over bad beats no matter how bad it was just means one thing and that is that they are betting way over their head. I have been there in the past until I decided to straighten myself out and bet for money not for action, entertainment or to make a quick score. It is a grind and anyone who bets for money and bets proper amounts can take bad beats in stride. I had Peguins up 3-0 the other night and lost 4-3 to Ottowa, horrible beat but it happens.
Long gone are the days of throwing a baseball through my television after LaDainian Tomlinson breaks a meaningless 45 yard TD run against the Raiders while just trying to run out the clock. Never forget that game, thanks Demarcus Russel for the 3 fumbles after a huge lead catching like 9 points

Just because you only had 2 bad beats in a season, that doesnt the mean the next guy wont have 20 bad beats in a season. Theres no magic formula for that. This is why you cant even think about bad beats. A loss is a loss, thats it.

Been betting since the 4th grade. I'm no rookie and I've never seen or experienced 5 bad beats like that in a month. If you saw heat/bucks Spurs/CAVS or yanks/jays in full and saw how in control jays/Spurs/heat were of those games, it is mind-boggling to be on the other side of all of them. The other teams were being raped and came back to life at the end...and I do mean the very very last buzz of the buzzer end.

I love the over and don't see how CC or the young kid don't both get shelled, but after last nights 0-3 and a 2-6 run my last 8 bets I know its hard to beat a losing streak by betting what u like so I faded myself and took the UNDER.. yea I am indeed that sick and twisted in the head
if this one goes over please just let one of the starters get shelled... I cant take another loss with the BLOWPENS and errors, two to five hit by pitches, passed balls etc

Exactly. I had 5 bad beats one night a few weeks ago. Dogs that led all game then fell behind late or went to overtime and end game stuff led to them blowing the spread. Shitt happens-maybe next season I play first halves? Anyway point is I was betting sensibly so could absorb, withstand, and move on.

I'm only saying this because I watched all the games he was on and was on the other side in several (Heat/Bucks topping the list) and I can assure you, these aren't typical bad beats. These are on the verge of Miracle bad beats.
And the fact that the Spurs are now playing like the best team in the NBA makes that cavs game that much worse.
To move to Vegas, pick one or two games a night for at least $1,100 and to have 5 brutal, and I do mean brutal, beats in ONE month is unfathomable.
He's not picking 6 games a night.
And yes, flat betting would have solved all this because ya just lose the game and move on, getting it back the next night.
But doing it while on he fringe of blowing your roll after you moved out to Vegas?
That's about as bad as it gets.
I am not sticking up for his behavior or bet amounts or how he caps, but to be on the other side of those 5 games is ludicrous if you watched them and saw how they went down. Yanks were DEAD last night. They wanted nothing but a hotel bed. CG bets on em? Boom, they rally for 3 in the bottom of the eighth and win it. All runs Jays manufactured.
It's so bad I have to look in this thread to consider fading his picks every night. His luck is beyond atrocious this past month. He is unconsciously picking the most brutal beats of the year on the wrong side almost every time!
This by far is the worst post a guy with the personality of CG could ever read.
You just added gasoline to the fire in his belief that he is constantly on the right side of all games.

This must mean you are in the 5th grade now, if you have never seen that many bad beats in a month.
I have had horrendous streaks of bad beat after bad beat, but i learned that it doesnt matter how you lose a bet, its still just a loss, period.
I saw all of cg's losses nba losses, those werent anything i havent seen many times before in the nba. Last nights yanks game wasnt even that special.
If you really havent seen bad beats like his, then you are a very lucky gambler. So thank the gambling gods for that

We've seen you lay -120 numerous times to purchase a meaningless basketball half point. But, now - when the half run is so much more valuable, you're not willing to lay it. You only get 7 runs - you actually need 6 or less to collect. You could have made 8 beat you!

CG, when you lay -130 on a ML, that is the same thing as buying points. I should've said, I could understand if you weren't the type of play to lay extra Vig, but you're not - you lay extra Vig all the time
