I really was/am cheering for you. But I mean, you have 11k and just go and bet 4800 on Spartan/Sooners game with a 1 point line?! I mean did you really love this game or just needed to make a big time wager (about half your remaining roll) to get some serious action because you are desperate to get back to where you were when you first moved to Vegas.

But I'll be honest---you have a major problem with alcohol and I genuinely believe that it's the root cause of your "living the dream" demise. 

Oh, when he takes a big hit and drops another 4k or 5k he makes some pretenses about listening to a few things here and there.  But then he catches his 2nd wind and is on fire ready to drop another bomb.

I do agree with the sentiments that "The CG" would be perfect for a reality show.  I'm more than a little surprised that some aspiring young producer has not latched on to him and worked out a deal. This whole scene is like gold nuggets lying on the ground.  With all the sports gamblers and voyeurs it would get greater reviews than any Jersey shore or Kardashian tripe.

CG...put some feelers out bro and get the REAL money train rolling. Pretty soon, that 30k will be your tipping money.  Figure it out!!

Sorry for being a debbie downer in your thread. But man, 11k is still a nice size amount of money and even if you lose…4k can still be built back up, especially considering your rent is paid for for a few months. But you need to quit going out, quit banging milfs, QUIT DRINKING, quit cooking these gourmet dinners (you probably spend 20 bucks a day just on dinner) which is absurd considering you are eating at home. You need to be eating ramen noodles and cereal every day. You need to become a hermit for 1-2 months straight and just try to scrape up 3-4k….especially since you refuse to get any sort of job. You are out there living like you are on vacation….not like that is your home and all of that crap you get into won't be there EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Because it's the responsible/right thing to do. I went to school to be a teacher. If I were teaching kindergartener's how to read and a kid told me "I don't want your help, I don't want to learn how to read" I'm not just gonna sit there and let the kid become illiterate simply because he "doesn't want my help". 

Sometimes you can get through to people. At the end of the day, us that are giving advice will be able to say that they/we tried 100% to help someone who is clearly in need of it. Obviously sometimes you just can't get through to people but I'm not gonna stop trying while there is still some hope.
