CG - You honestly deserved to go 1-1 tonight. Don't let this shlt bother u. Miami was brutal, but Vandy was lucky.
An hour ago, I tell you that you will split, you shrug your shoulders and are fine with it.
It is sports. This shlt happens every night. We witness this every night. Got to have thick skin.

It's games like Bucks Heat that prove to me I will never ever EVER attempt to become a pro gambler.
Not even if I lived ten lifetimes.
You'll die young dealing with outcomes like that.
CG, you're picking some of the most brutal beats in all of Vegas, some of them the worst beats all year out hundreds and hundreds of games. You are looking at the board and nabbing the game with the most excruciating ending.
I think you should see a Shaman and buy a dream catcher off him to change some of this. It's uncanny!

I just made a video. the heat loss was horrid. one guy wins a game tho and one guy loses.
congrats to scal 1-0 H2H with CG
the vandy game.. finally got a break... although the heat loss was a way bigger moose.. think about how many games free throws have cost me... Cavs at Spurs.. Leonard missed NOT ONE BUT BOTH... purdue -5.5 vs psu in big 10 tourney.... purdue misses the second ft to win by 5.... florida at Kentucky +16.5 covering whole game lose because of 1-4 FT in last minute... sparty -4 vs Maryland in big 10 tourney... up 8 with a minute left and push... up four with four seconds left, Maryland dosent foul and I don't dunk
eastern wash +8 in dance vs gtown... down 8 miss a three don't foul walking off court and GTOWN dunks with 1 sec left
so nice for once to get a W and not even a push because the 53% foul shooter misses both... when vandy shot that crazy off balanced three so quick I said I am really so cursed, but to get a break for once to save the night somewhat was big.
the heat loss has gotta be the worst loss of the year? Considering how horrible Milwaukee is playing and the streak they are on.... regardless congrats to scal 1-0 vs CG head to head...

like I said congrats scal
anyone follow me in baseball last year and see my losses? it's like I love betting so much and God himself puts me through the most unreal games of the season like scal said.. he just said it himself my losses are games that are once in a season most of the time... when do I ever pick a team that gets blown out? bottom line is there is a winner and a loser, but if my luck could even be bad and not horrible I could easily turn this around... question is if ur just truly cursed in any big spot then how can u overcome that?
I will continue to fight and claw my way back, but with my losses if this thing turns me into bankrupt I really need to write a book or something about these games... it's not like I have blowout losses basically ever.

ive hit 5 college games in a row now at least but spread over weeks now I cant hit an nba game for the life of me. 2 of my last 3 nba losses were the Spurs ML vs the cavs 12 days ago on TNT Thursday and the CHEAT tonight
those two games I mentioned are candidates for some of the worst losses in maybe the last 10-15 years in NBA would u not agree?

I have to... everytime... the one time I didn't line shop and take the best line available at the time I placed bet I took florida +16.5 and it was +17 places here.... reason I did that was bc my mom was here and I felt bad keeping her waiting long as I had already went to the gym and what happens??????

I wouldn't say 10-15 years but I'd say this: I don't think I've seen two worse beats, being selective betting the NBA, and being on the wrong side on both in 11 days time. Those two games will be the worst "game is locked up and throw away the key" losses of the year for Heat and Spurs backers respectively and you had both.
I'm serious when I say you should buy some amulets or something. Maybe get a spotted fern and hang it over your TV for good luck. I have no idea. I'm not even superstitious but Kentucky/Georgetown/Spurs/Heat are just too much to take.

CG, none of your losses or wins have been special. All of your results span the spectrum of "normal" for every league you play. The only reason you think your losses are special and you never have "blowout losses" is because of something called "confirmation bias".
Confirmation bias, also called myside bias, is the tendency to search for, interpret, or recall information in a way that confirms one's beliefs or hypotheses.

Well I definitely don't like CG cuz he's a racist/bigot, but I can't lie that the Heat loss was a horrific beat. What kind of pro team score 9 points in a quarter? What a clown team Miami is. I'm still kind of glad he lost because I absolutely hate racism, I was once beat by a cop here in Oakland and called a n igger by him and there was nothing I could do about it, he broke my nose too, so I take being called a n igger very seriously, but nonetheless that was a very very bad beat. The way that last play happened was ridiculous.

You got to stop talking about the Spurs, Sparty, E Wash, Purdue, Florida. Everyone takes bad beats. Move on. You beat him tonite. He capped the game like he usually does, terribly. And you had it right. He says,"I'll give my life if Miami wins by 20". Typical stupidity. You are a gentleman and congratulate him. What you should do. But these tough decisions will turn for you, and you will be on the right end more often than not.
Keep working at it. You're doing the right thing by not listening to guys telling you what they like.

I'd like to see what you can do with the NFL while in Vegas assuming you can build the bankroll. I watched some of your NFL vids and, don't take this the wrong way, you definitely cap the NFL MUCH, MUCH better than the NBA. It's obvious. I think you can make a pretty nice run in the NFL in Vegas.
This season should be really interesting with Rex in Buffalo, Revis back on the Jets and the secondary now bolstered like it should have been last year, and now rumors that the Redskins will take Mariota. Lots of interesting storylines to bet on/fade.
Honestly, I don't know why you came out to Vegas when you did. You should have waited until September. 6 months at a job is nothing. It would have been over in no time. The NBA is INCREDIBLY tough to cap and March Madness is the second biggest moneymaker for Vegas after the Super Bowl (i.e. more people lose than win).

CG, part of being a "pro" is getting past this type of behavior. There is nothing professional about going nuts or losing it with either wins or losses.
As a matter of fact, the more professional you are...the less and less you will need the hype of the game...the less and less you will need to watch the game being played out...the more and more you will rely on your analysis and then analyze the numbers to find out why you won or lost instead of watching replays on Sportscenter.
Watching the games and getting caught up in the emotions of the game does you much more of a disservice than you currently realize. It ties you into the idea that "bad luck" or "good luck" or "I got lucky finally" should be "legitimate factors" in your long term gambling career.
This is why the pros don't look at a day to day record...a week to week record or even a month to month record. They base success on a long term record over years of success and consistency.
This is similar to adopting an attitude that many pro poker player's take. Their career is just one long drawn out session with multiple breaks in between sessions that occur over their entire poker playing lives. They manage bankrolls and risks based on their knowledge of the game and other players.
It's a long term process...it's a learning process. Being a pro means being in control of everything in your life because everything shapes and effects your success.
It's all about passing the tests in big and little ways every day.
