At this point, and I'm serious about this, I do think he should drop a 8 to 10K bomb on one game.
Why?
He's getting vigged out.
When he's not getting vigged out, he's losing in excruciating fashion.
When he's not losing in excruciating fashion, he's losing in general.
That has been the theme in the last half month even though overall he has a winning record (and that means nothing now).
If he tries to grind with his remaining bankroll I feel he will lose it all in about 2 weeks.
Why not one 8K/10K play on a game he caps for 10 hours and spreads the bet out over 4 casinos. If he wins, he'll be back at what, over 20K and then he can regain some sanity and go back to $500 plays and focus on paying his rent.
CG if you are reading this, I really think you should consider this.
You took your shot. It failed.
You have one more shot. One more big play.
Go after it with 10K and if you hit you have a new beginning in Vegas.
I'm serious when I say this.
I have seen poker players with thousands and thousands in front of them just let it dwindle away with chase bets and tilt bets hour after hour after hour. In CG's case it'll be sports bets and days.
Not worth it.
One play and try to renew your existence there in Vegas.

CG - You want to stay in Las Vegas. Start betting using martingale theory, starting at $400 per game. If you lose 5 straight games, you're done. But if you could go a month without losing 5 straight... That's 10 g's man. I really think you have a good shot at it. A better shot than putting 10 k on a game.
And if you lose 10 k tomorrow, you have to go home already. At least with my strategy, you will last a while, and you will be making $400 just about every day. That's approximately $2500 a week. Dude, you won't lose 5 straight. I mean eventually you will, maybe 3 or 4 months down the line. But try it for a month. It's fun too. Because everyday you will be making money. No negative days for the most part. Martingale works as a short term fix most of the time.
If you don't like this idea, go with Scals idea. Just do a big bet. One bet you have a 50-50 shot. Lose 5 straight in the next month, I say odds are more in your favor. Good luck.
Remember Martingale is not good to do forever, because big losing streaks are inevitable. But go one month without a 5 game losing streak, and its 10 k. Everyday you make money. The bleeding stops.

STOP WATCHING THE GAMES.
Seriously man, you're hanging on every basket, every foul, every second.....and that shitt will take years off your life. Make one play and go do something for 2.5 hours and don't check the score once. Your quality of life will improve in addition to your clarity improving. Once the bet is made, it doesn't matter what and how it happens, only the final result matters. To do this long term you must remove your emotions completely from it and you my friend are on the highest of emotional roller coasters, hence my thoughts of your eventual demise.
I honestly wish you the best but if I was setting the line for you going broke before football starts, no is a cool -750.
PS- Getting the best line (and it is important) in town means jack shitt when you're on the wrong side. And being on the right/wrong side pales in comparison to true money managament. And betting -110 constantly versus Pinny/Matchbook makes your job that much harder.
