I actually respect wizsard... he brought up a very real situation to me in my drinking problems, but also talks in facts and figures and brings up my epid winning %

Let's say he bets 1000 on the Spurs over Cleveland, like the other night.  And the Spurs are up by 12 points early 3rd quarter. The new game line may be San Antonio minus 6, so he could bet the other 1200 for 1000 on Cleveland, and get them plus 6, with his Spurs plus 1.5 for the game.  So he could lose 200 chasing the middle, in an in-game scenario, but the upside is huge at 2K.  

However, I think if he just waited till half-time for second half wagers, it would likely only cost him 10-cents to bet the other side, for the full 1100 for 1000, and either lose 100, or win 2000, but he has to be ahead a decent amount of the time at the half versus the spread, which I think he is.  

And due to a lot games coming down to the last bucket or two in determining these tight game lines, he would have hit multiple middles in the process, while sweating nothing.  The tough part is when your pick keeps blowing out the opposition, but this does not seem to be the case too often with his selections.
