Hey there Nick...been reading your story since you posted it brother. Took a couple weeks off (of Covers)  and logged on this morning, and have since had a chance to watch your videos and catch up on your post. But I'm telling you buddy---you have to stop drinking. Not only if you want to succeed at your dream but if you want to live a decent life. 

Alcoholism is progressive and it only gets worse. Once you quit drinking a fog will lift and you'll be as sharp as ever. 

BOL buddy----I know you are on all the faves today but I'm leaning with the dogs. Only Dallas is locked in for me at this point, but I'll keep my eye on the late game.

Yea I don't even wanna drink. I only do 2-3 times a month. But key is to not start cuz I can't stop when I do. Uploaded a vid for today's games

Check your fluids, hoses and belt before leaving on that hyundai. Make sure a mechanic has checked everything under the hood. Check your coolant, air filter, test your battery, check tire pressure throughout the drive. Take your time driving. 8 hours a day max. Honestly, I am not a fan of Vegas. You will not be unique in this endeavour. There are probably hundreds of guys a day that filter in with the same mindset as you. They all get eaten up even if they don't admit it. 

If you are going there with the mindset that you will most likely lose all your money then you'll be fine. Just don't burn all your bridges back home. You seem like a personable guy that people close to you would care about you.

Agreed - I would suggest immediately taking down that video where you called your current employer a "shitty place" or whatever phrase you used.

just watched the videos man. love the enthusiasm and passion! honestly my dream is also yours. trying to live it right now at my home tho, not vegas. best of luck to u man thats would be cool for u to post all of your bets here!!

How old are you? Just curious. 

People are going to post their advice or criticisms.. Who cares, just keep doing your thing. 

Take videos of your apartment when you first get it, the tickets after you leave the window, everything. The more authentic you make it the better it is. Show yourself roughing it.

I'm your age and just wishing I could do what you are doing, I'm half way there…but might be out in Vegas very soon. Would much rather stay on your couch as opposed to a nasty bed in the Harrah's casino.

Good luck College. Be very tight with your money and you should be fine. Run your bankroll like a business and only pay yourself just enough to get by for the first couple years. The minute you start to spend and live the vegas life is the moment it all comes crashing down. Be better than that, and crush them books.

Just remember its a house of cards. Tread carefully and GOOD LUCK!

I would  suggest,  once you're up 30-40,000, put it down  on a house/condo of you're own. Real estate is cheap out here. With historically low interest rates, you're  mortgage payment will be less than your rent with 25% down on a nice $170,000 condo

Man, College Gambler, I hope to do well.  You seem to have well thought out plan (including getting that job in Vegas so you aren't only relying on your betting. as income.)   You are young and unattached.  I say "Go for it!"  Just us your head and stay grounded.  You'll be okay.

Kennywood- I'll get a job if a need to. I'm not lazy... Drove 3 hours round trip for give years a day to work.... Just want to do what I love for a while and no work. If if gets tight I'll find a job. But it's not like in a month or two will destroy all my cash not working.. Especially if I bet decent like I usually do
