I have mixed feelings I really do. He was solid and reliable and had back to back 1000 yard season before this year. The offense that Miami wants to run is a dink and dunk offense and you would think Hartline would be good in that role. I just don't think he has the athleticism to get open on short routes when defenses know that short throws are coming. Landry is basically a more athletic version of him with better hands, so his release was all but a given. I think a lot of the reason he was productive the 2 years prior was because he was a #2 and in the NFL as a #2 you are going to get passes thrown your way. I rate Hartline as a solid C+ or b-
I would have liked for them to keep him but I don't really mind him leaving. They can most likely find someone cheaper who will produce just the same as he did. Miami really loves to force feed the ball to Wallace, even when he is not open. I am interested to see the dynamic of the offense if he leaves (I'd say 75-80% chance he is cut or traded). Like you said Lazor had no role for him and he doesn't fit the system. Dolphins want and need BIG WR who can create separation right off the line and get open quick. I don't think Hartline is worth the $. Fins needed to creat cap space to focus on their D.

Haha I joined this thread on page like 64 or 65 and never read anything before that. This thread is epic though. One of the best I can remember since the SJP fiasco. Kind of like the place everyone hangs out because its such a good thread and talks about whatnot. I certainly would not be cluttering this thread with my nonsense until I started seeing the deadlift and dinner talk. Its CGs thread and aslong as he is cool with all the off topic talk we are all going to keep it going.
We are all hating on your Baron man because no one can understand what you are saying with all your run on sentences. Also everyone else that is talking off topic is doing just that. WE AREN'T GIVING CG OUR PLAYS, BECAUSE HE DOESN'T NEED THEM. He obviously knows what the hell he is doing.
