Well fellas it has been fun. It's time for me to take a shot of jagaer and pop a couple xanex and get to bed. Tomorrow is like my birthday and I can't wait til kickoff. Tomorrow is bitter sweet being that it is the last game of the season. Oh well. Anyways, everyone enjoy the game and best luck to you no matter which side you're on. I've heard every scenario and every "what if" possibility for this game and it has been quite interesting. There will be a big play, a missed field goal, a fumble or a bad call by the ref that could influence who wins and covers this game....that's the way it goes and there is nothing you can do about it. Just take your loss or your win like a man and move on. That is gambling. I want to apologize to those that I've upset and talked smack to but it was all in fun and no harm intended. Everyone be safe tomorrow and don't blow your wad on this game. I've been around this buisness for a while and I've seen many individuals dig themselves very deep holes over this one game. Whoa! More of you are coming to your respective senses! By that last update, many are jumping on the Bears/Under bandwagon. My call is still Chicago 23 Indy 17. (Now observe my hexing myself) 

On a more scheming, shady note...has anyone (not reading of it at least on this thread) made a withdrawal request from a wagering site, specifying cheque, since the legislation went through to ban most all of these? My bank has a block in place, Neteller was also eliminated, and that left me with only the Fed Ex cheque option, which they still haven't delivered. This is stemming from early last week. That, and will US banks at least allow the cheques to go through? Dodgy dealings, I know.

Devin Hester, a sort of homecoming. If that Hobbs on New England can tear up the Colts special teams, Hester will be up for MVP...worth a prop. That, or it'll be some quirky defensive player (See Larry Brown (DAL) and Dexter Jackson (TB) from years of yore). Happy wagering, all!

ive got 6 screaming 10 yr old girls in my house for my daughters birthday sleepover, the only thing that im really grateful for is that puberty isnt here yet and i dont have to clean and oil all my weapons in front of the boys yet.

I cannot wait fr this game tomorrow, id take a sleeper but i need to stay frosty so my big screen tv doesnt get covered in hairspray or chocolate or whatever 10 yr olds use to destroy things

I think its going to be a close game......like bears special teams i think that will be the difference.

I think thier special teams is much better than the colts....

Bears special teams will score and thier defense will score.

Gentlemen, It has been a pleasure debating trends and exchanging information with you. I must say that the thread has defnitely enhanced my wagering season. I cant believe were at the end of the road  Only 5 and half short months until College Football starts up again Its a bittersweet day. Biggest game of the year followed by 2 months of void until baseball starts. To all posters new and old, keep up the good work, we can use any advantage we can get. For those of you that only play football, I look forward to seeing you guys again in a few months, and you baseball guys I will see you soon.

 

Hoping to cash out with the Bears and the Over, we will see how that goes. But no matter who your pick is GLA Have a safe and prosperous Super Bowl celebration.  

 

My theory is quite simple...Take the horse  (colts) and run...

 

That only means winning not covering....I sometimes forget that myself.  The horse wins but the dog covers. If I had taken my emotions out of the equation; I would have won more.

 

With that said, the best play may be teasing the colts and the under.

I ran out of things to pontificate about around a week ago.......so I will just say GL to everybody on the thread..........sure was fun talking with you all.........I'll look forward to next year more than any other year.....now that I know I have a great source for insight like all of you out there!!!   I thank all the regular visitors who take this silly hobby as seriously as I do.......It takes one to know one ya know!?!?  My wife just doesn't get it

Take the over in the second half for a boatload......and the game.......I can't believe that not too many people are talking about that!!!!????!!  Indy's defense isn't anything to be fearful of on the road when they are facing an offense that knows how to score in different ways!!  

Horse and everybody else - complete past Super Bowl results & spreads.

I just found a site that gave me the previous superbowl winners, the score and location... dome stadiums seem to have close games..I didn't study it completely, but a quick glance seemed to favor closer played games in dome stadiums..outdoors were sometimes one sided. 

 

Interesting stuff if you have figured that in yet.  Modern defensive and offense styles would have one only look at the last, let's say  5 years....BTW...The AFC has clearly been dominate, you can't change that on one hopeful team.  It's like saying the whole NFC has improved overnight.  The AFC (Colts) should win.  This give credence to my teasing the line down and the under. 

 

I predict the final score will be 21-17. Colts

Anything inside 7 points would be a moral victory for the Bears.  You could be right that the colts won't win by 7 and still lose your money....I still think the Colts will win; but to trust a 7 point margin would be dangerous.
