Look - there is no reason to panic. Its very bad but it has nothing to do with criminalizing gambling - UNLESS they add language to update the wire act - which is very doubtful.

come on guys dont you all know why certain forms of gambling arent part of the bill. Just stop and use common sense for a minute and you can see right thru these lying scumbags
1. lotteries arent banned because they take in billions of dollars that politicians from each state basically gets to use like their own piggy bank
2. indian casinos arent banned in our country because that is where these politicians get the majority of their kickback money from. Remember indians dont have to account for their billions they take in.
3. horse racing isnt banned because, this one is a no brainer. who are the people behind horse racing? the rich power brokers in our country who hang with all the polticians.
so you can see these 3 areas of gambling could never be banned in a billion years.

Some sanity from the NROG:
hey guys. A fairly dark day for us all...to clear things up. The bill that was attached today does indeed mimrro the Leach bill which will prevent U.S. banks and internet payment companies from funding online accounts. Not sure yet how or if Neteller/Firepay/etc are somehow factored into the equasion but we'll let you know once we review the bill.
This is hardly the end guys. This is mostly ceremonial and sure it may make things tougher in the short term, but the big nut is still waiting to fall. That is the amendment of the Wire Act which will make all online gambling illegal. Who knows know if that will come up next year. It will depend on who takes over control and how motivated they are to go after it. Our info points to a possible break in the anti-gambling action for a while as they'll call this bill a victory.
NROG will now focus on our original media approach to let people know what their Senators did behind closed doors and what the next step may be. The fight is far from over. We may have lost this battle but we haven't yet lost the war. (sorry for the bad analogy) We're sorry we couldn't help in Washington although we did give it our all. Remember though, this is why NROG was formed. We knew the lobbying efforts were not working. Lets take this thing to the public and get a massive army to fight the next battle. Thanks again for your support.
