The numbers offensively & defensively are surprising close when you really study them. The Buckeyes do have a big advantage in the turnover dept. though. I believe the defenses have been way behind in the prior bowl games and this shouldn't be any different. With that said I have to give the advantage to Ohio St.'s QB Troy Smith. Wouldn't surprise me if they jumped to a 14-0 lead like 25% of the prior bowl games (25% isn't confirmed, just feels that way). I am also against the dual QB system coach Urban Meyer uses for Florida. Has made me POd a number of times this year. Anyway, Go Buckeyes. Good luck all.

i cant see why some of u like the gators...gators dont even belong on the field...michigan deserves to b playing tonight yea i know usc kicked their butts...but lets face it mich went to calif. feeling their season was already over mich plays for a national championship every year anything else season is a bust so the mich/usc game means jack....but enough about michigan.....Ohio st will win this game easy after a slow start and win by 17+......u gator backers make another wager and take ohio st u will thank me

Yes, my friend we are finally both on one together, is it a "winnir, winnir, chikkin dinnir" type affair? Or just another bad bet? Hopefully, we end up in the green amigo.
BIGEIII.....My hat's off to you my friend. You've taught me a lot and been an inspiration to me. Well, it's getting late, here's my two cents,
I'd love to think Florida has a shot. I think they do. I was wondering if Ohio State has played a defense this fast. They did. Texas. Ohio State can return punts, Ohio State prevents punt returns. Ohio State can kick field goals. Florida cannot kick field goals.
I have been betting all year on Ohio State, Nevada (especially at home-I'll take this bet next year already), Hawaii, and BYU. BYU and Hawaii ended up ranked, make a note.
If I have to bet, IT HAS TO BE OHIO STATE.
On a final note, I'd like to thank all those vets out there for helping this rookie get his feet wet. It's been a real pleasure looking at all the breakdowns/stats/posts/reasons/angles/threads/ideas both pro and con for a helluva lot of games. I'll be checking the pro football forums, and I'll be there for March Madness. Heading to Spring Training in Phoenix in March for a few weeks and will have a few ideas on baseball teams.
