Thanks for the heads up on weekends only.
Can anyone play with the Big East?
They just seem sick good.
Pitt looks like they are point shaving, you heard it here first.
Creaming in my pants to get Conn -6.5 vs Purdue.
The play of the decade?? I am 70% on the week, (look it up) and this seems like a mortal lock. (and as any good gambler knows that scares the sh$& out of me...........)

Gusto, no need for attack. We are here to make money so lets keep it that way. Insights, suggestions, positive remarks only helps one another. I am new on Covers and I have met some cool people and others that don't know what the F*$K they are talking about. Those people, I just don't respond to. You seem like a good guy but did not read the threads completely to understand where Lump was coming from. Just being postive to start the week. Wish we could smoke a peace pipe :)

Teddy and Prez. I want to think this contest is legit But I have some things that concern me.
You guys supposedly have 25 k each on the line correct ?
1) Why does Teddy give out a 3* play for his contest and then have a 5* available for purchase on the same day ? If you have 25 K on the line wouldn't you want to put out your strongest pick each day ?
2) Teddy was absolutely kicking ass in the NBA and then he switches over and loses his ass in college hoops. I would think he would stick to his strong suit and play games where he has a clear advantage. Yet he gets sucked into the hype of March Maddness. You know what i'm saying ? You guys are professional sports handicappers, I dont need to explain this to you.
I would appreciate some feedback. Either on the show or here in the forum.

You got to love a guy who uses his own quote. You know, whenever I am thinking about going really large, I sleep on it and make sure I am seeing things the same in the am. Today, after a wonderful nights sleep, I STILL LOVE UCONN. My reasoning is simple, the Big East rocks and the Big 10 sucks hind tit. I have put 10 units on this and may go more.
Last year, at this time there was another 75% covers game (where 75% of the people on here were picking a team). It was UNC and Wisconsin I believe. The line was 8 ish. I started a thread and said look if 75% of you yahoos are picking UNC then the "smart money" must be on Wisconsin. I bet the big 10. They got blown out, too slow for the quick guards of UNC. This reminds me so much of that.
Sorry, to put this in here because it deserves its own thread. Also, sorry to be so long winded but I am frothing over this line. My money managemnet limits me to 10 units but I am tempted to go 15 or twenty, any ideas?

One of the biggest advantage of a 'put your money where your mouth is' challenge like this one is this -- Since I put up my 25k, I get to pick what games I use.
I'm sorry that some of you don't like that I have been picking more college games than NBA of late, or that I chose one particular game over another specific game. Guess what -- it's my choice as to which games to pick, and I won't apologize for any of my selections. Believe me when I tell you that I'm not looking to pick losers here, folks....
And, as I have written repeatedly in this thread and stated repeatedly on the radio show, any game that I'm betting myself and releasing to my clients is on my 'short list' for inclusion as a contest play on any given day. The actual play that I end up using is generally based on line parameters at Bookmaker.com.
I did not use Arizona State on Friday because of the early start time of that game, tipping off just 1/2 hour after the radio show gets posted at Covers. Any glitch in the production of the show and voila, nobody gets the play in time and people start to bitch about that instead of bitching about what plays I'm choosing to use. Throughout the course of the contest, I have repeatedly used my strongest 'Big Ticket' plays as long as the line parameters at Bookmaker allow me to do so.
After 30 plays, Prez and I are both hitting 60%. I'm pleased with my result thusfar; I'm sure Prez is pleased with his result as well. Anyone and everyone who has been betting our selections has made money from following us, and that's a good thing.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I suffered three consecutive tough, tough beats in college hoops. That doesn't mean that I can't pick college hoops winners at any time for any reason. It just means that my clients and I suffered a couple of tough beats in a row. If you watched the Zags missed dunk/Zips three pointer with a minute left of a 19 point blowout on Thursday that turned into a 13 point final score, you know that Gonzaga was the right side there. Unfortunately, it was a 'right side' half point loser for contest purposes.
If you saw the EXACT SAME thing happen on Friday with Michigan St (up 20 with 2 minutes left laying 15.5, a missed dunk for the Spartans followed by a runout three for Morgan State, which led to the half point loss), you know it was a similar story -- right side, wrong result. Shit happens, that's a part of gambling. I try not to let the tough beats freak me out, and I certainly don't let them affect my confidence level in releasing a play for my clients and I to bet...

Of course I meant Robert Morris, not Morgan State. Morgan State got bounced by Oklahoma in the first round.

50 K UPDATE, 20 days left in the 50 k challenge,it's looking like 30 wins will take the money down.That was Teddy's forecast before the challenge started and it's exactly coming down to that.The way ur luck has been of late teddy,i hope it dosen't come down to a missed free throw on the last day.I had a good weekend 5-1 on the posting forum, my record here playing along 15-15 and my selection today is STANFORD-WICHITA ST OVER 135.5 BOL everyone

I have less than 50% on my win picks so I can say I am in a rut. I love tailing guys on here win or lose. I do not blame anyone but myself, but when I win, I give credit whereever it's due.

hey guys - hope you are going to make the Covers Radio Poker Tournament Tuesday Night - all you have to do is have an account at Bookmaker.com and in the poker application under tournament it says Covers Radio Bounty Tournament - just sign up. It starts at 9:00pm Est.
I really hope a bunch of you make it.
