Noskova is my play over Navarro. Navarro has been brilliant at times but there have also been stretches in matches where she has struggled. Noskova has stayed dominant throughout and is a very dangerous player on hard courts.
Recency bias will lead you to believe that she has been in a rough patch after sub par performances during the clay and grass swings but the reality is that she's never been able to find footing on those surfaces in her young career but her weaponry on hard courts is approaching, or will one day be, elite level.
Noskova has faced only 6 break points through 3 matches while saving 4 of 6 including 2 of 2 last night. Against a great player in Svitolina she dropped only 3 total points on her first serve, winning 91%. Navarro has made a habit of falling into a hole and then digging herself right back out but if she is broken by Noskova it will be difficult for her to break back.
Noskova's ground strokes have also been a thing of beauty. Perhaps aided by the altitude, she has been able to hit through her opponents with relative ease. This should help to neutralize Navarro's excellent defensive skills to some extent.

Do not be sorry any comments are welcome. ![]()
It is a beat down for sure. That would have been a nice dog to start the day. Sitting on idle has us restless. Lord Bringit confirmed our first play.

There are a lot of factors to Noskova keeping this close...even the line is telling us so, but the books may be a bit off here...Navarro is top class and she is coming off the Cincinnati hangover with a loss to the teenage mutant ninja turtle, Mirra Andreeva, who mind you was in great form...Emma hasn't looked so great here in Mexico either, but this is smoke and mirrors, IMO...Emma knows this is just a tune up for the Open starting next week and she needs this for her confidence....the oddsmakers seem to think that Noskova will give some resistance to Navarro, but I see it to the contrary...She hasn't dropped a set yet, until tonight...this boils doing to a far superior player in Navarro against a rising star in Noskova, but she will be outclassed here...I could see a convincingly straight sets win (6-3, 6-4) for Navarro here...plus, on a personal side note, she's got great skin tone and an ass that you can really get behind and move some shit around...
Here are some interesting stats on this contest:
Linda Noskova wins with +3.5 game handicap in 8 of the last 9 matches
Emma Navarro has won the 2nd set in 6 of the last 7 matches
Emma Navarro has lost the 1st set in the last 4 matches
There have been under 2.5 sets in 12 of the last 13 Linda Noskova matches

I pulled the trigger on Kessler.
I am somewhat hesitant to recommend it to others because it's really a personal feeling type play. I'm somewhat surprised she's not a bigger underdog honestly.
But after feeling like she was a breakthrough candidate for months now she is on the precipice of advancing to a 250 final. It seems like backing her to do that is the only logical move for me personally.

Understandable was reluctant to pull the trigger as well. Determined to get my money back from her match Over dud. Good luck on Kessler and let's go three sets please.

@YELAWOLF
Yes, it was. Sure, would have been nice to get the hold. Potapova has been hitting a very clean ball this week. Going to need her level to drop a little to be comfortable with our plays.

Potapova is striking it well...Kessler held in there and then gave up that first break right away...she needs to settle down and let Pota make the mistakes....Kesler not playing horribly, it's just that Pota is a bit better at the moment...

We're Americans. If we need to go to the bathroom or get another beer we get up and go, even if it's during your ball toss.
