Valentova is -476 and yesterday she was -540 over Bronzetti

Bronzetti is 26yrs old and ranked #56 and in the last month she has wins over Ostapenko and Kasitina and D. Vekic and she has played Gauff and several other top 40 women.

Valentova is 18 yrs old and #96 has a record of 22-3 since May 19, 2025.
Am I missing something? A lot of challengers and WTA 250 or lower tourneys

Why was the line -476 and yesterday -540 over a seasoned vet that’s only 26 yrs old and has played against na lot of players far more experienced and better than Valentova.

Can she beat Bronzetti by +6 games.

Well I’ve put my money on Bronzetti +6 games so we shall see.

Bronzetti just won the 4th game of the 3rd set to secure me a win with my +6 games.

There are many way better handicappers on this forum than me and many cappers that know a lot more about tennis than I do, however I am very happy with myself that what I saw in this matchup raised red flags to me as to what was I missing……

Valentova opend -540 and by match time she was -476 and I could get +6 game.

I felt that I was not missing anything in reading Bronzetti’s history, and she could surely hang with this 18-year-old and not get blown out and could win a few games some way, somehow because she has demonstrated throughout her career.

That through her recent experience & play over the last several months and throughout her career she could win some games against some of the world's top players…………….and those top players were trying their best to double bagel her.

just going by age, ranking, and beating a couple higher ranked players recently isn't a long term winning strategy. too many factors involved that could have easily been the reason why this bet could/would have lost. none of those players she beat were in form and/or cared about winning those matches. coupled with bronzetti is a big time choker. current form is key, but need to watch the player's form not just results.
