A #91 ranking doesn't do him justice.  He's pretty bad.

His not bad, ranked #17 2021 reached Round of 16 both Indian Well and Miami on hard this year.

He already Included the 1st round prize money for US Open when they did the budget for this year.

I might be wrong but I think he knew before this match that as a #2 seed he would get a spot as LL. so he tanked and saved himself 2 qualifier matches same as #1 seed Munar. Hard to see him lose 2-0 agianst someone who never played on hard this year and played future tennis all summer…

we will see when the draw is realised just my guess, so be careful to play high seeded players in qualifier.
