not too many successful handicappers in tennis.
I only started recently but what I hare learned is you need to pick your spots. Get to know the players as best you can. AVOID heavy chalk unless your talking about the best of the best like Sinner and Alcaraz for the men and Sabalenka for the women they rarely if ever lose. And finally take advantage of live betting. A lot of times you can take a dog and if they start off well you can hedge on the pre match face and take a guaranteed profit. If you play it right sometimes you can get dog and face at both + odds live

Tennis when bet on correctly can be very easy and profitable. As said earlier, the art is in the late match live betting. There are extreme swings on the money line. Moving sometimes as example -150 to +150 on just one point being awarded. As always the down side is if in a close match one player takes a slight lead & then never relinquishes.

Alcaraz was -5000 in the third set.
Zverev now -400 in the fourth set.
Tennis is wild and crazy.

Yes, he started cramping towards end of third set. He's been walking and moving gingerly. Basically match is at a pick em now.

Tennis is pretty easy to win on live - just always expect the unexpected - the markets almost always overreact - like you could easily just oppose everyone that win the first set 6-0 etc. (not knowing anything about them at all) and still be profitable long-term

@PayMeHardRock
i do my best on live women's tennis and my worst on live men's tennis. i bet way more on women's tennis now. there is so much more body language you can predict. women give up much quicker than the men.

@Calde13
What do you mean by oppose? By betting the player that lost 6-0 in the first set? Do you bet the ML for full game, ML for 2nd set, or the spread?

The market overreact all the time - so if you know nothing about Tennis at all you can still win - just knowing the times in a match where the market will overreact - 6-0 in a set is the best and easiest example ! It doesn’t change how far behind a player is if they lose a set 6-0 or they lose 7-6 - but the market prices the player that lost COMPLETELY different
It also often happens with “injuries” !
the best advise I can give you if you want to win in tennis betting - is to bet the opposite of what your instinct tell you to bet ! Most people would bet the player that won 6-0 - but the market knows that - and it pushes it prices of that way past the point of containing any value
I bet what has the most value - that changes - but I have seen so much tennis I can almost pinpoint exactly the games where they will break each other - so most often I bet on the winner of a specific game

The main “mistake” people make with betting is they “over trade” or bet for fun (which of course also is ok) - you are almost 100% not smarter than the market - your main advantage is you don’t have to price every event nor bet on it - so if you want to bet for a living - you wait for the odds where you are 100% sure you are on the correct side - it is fucking boring betting tbh if you want to win long term - I make 4-5 bets a month or less - because I have less than 20 players I follow intensely - and I know everything about them down to what they eat for breakfast
