She lost to a player legally not able to drink alcohol LOL

Svit is not going to shake hands with a Russian due to the war. Give her some slack.

I think this whole thing is silly, I understand that it's not a good look for her fellow countrymen if they do shake hand (from both sides) but they both professional tennis players and both live abroad, I think they should just agree beforehand we are not going to shake hand and don't make a big thing out of it. 

What happen after the war, they will start shake hand the next match-up?

Respect to Mirra to applaud Svitolina off the court.. very immature of her.

I know it's been going since the war started, I remember Svitolina even refuse to shake hand with Avanesyan who is not even Russian anymore.. 

All I'm saying is it's silly to bring politics to sports, Yastremska even asked WTA to sanction Mirra because she liked a pro-Russian post...

Too much drama with the Ukrainian players I'm just happy they are all gone 

Shut up already - it is not a big deal - every player know this and know the reason - it has nothing to do with you but what your country is doing and how it would be taken by their countrymen (the Ukrainian) if you can’t survive your opponent don’t shake your hand in that situation - you should find another profession - if they were spitting them in their face or booing them out - then maybe you would have point

But atleast I hope you guys will be as large towards people of the same community - if one day a country or a race randomly start killing every member of your family

I can say since I come from a country that has been occupied during a war - we wouldn’t have shaken hands with a German player in 1946 either - we would probably have shot him if we had the chance - maybe China at one point can put you guys to the same test (and if they don’t I really don’t think you can comment on this as you have no idea how it is like)

What ? There are basically no age restrictions for alcohol consumption in Russia - they are the country with most minors with alcohol related issues - last time I was there (6 years ago) Vodka was cheaper than bottled water and St petersburg was Skid row just with minors
