Rybakina suffered an unfortunate injury. Suspected to be something with her achilles. Severity unknown at this point. She could walk but couldn't really put much weight on it to serve. No player would take any chances at this point in the season so hopefully her retirement was mainly precautionary but there are definitely major concerns for her fitness in the near future.
Women's US Open futures markets are still up currently on draftkings btw.

hopefully she is fine and be ready for US Open. Rybakina and Osaka are two my favorite women tennis players of all time
