if you think djokovic had a tougher draw than andy you clearly are lacking a lot of tennis knowledge
never once did i say he had a tougher draw.....im sure all of these guys were meant to be in the semi finals......sure murray may have had more "challenges" getting to the semi finals...but joker hasnt lost a set his whole way here.....while anyone whos anyone that KNOWS TENNIS would know if Nadal was 100% healthy and playing to his fullest form he would have beaten ferrer and hence knocked murray out of the tournament completely.

See this statement i can definitely agree with. There is nothing that stands out completely. I view it as.....there is the top 2....then there is a middle ground NOW with Djok....then the rest of the field. I wouldnt quite put Djok in the Nadal/Fed category just yet, but if you asked me 3 years ago...how many times Djok would beat Fed or Nadal out of 10 matches i would probably respond 1-2 max, now i would say 6-7 against Fed and prob 4-5 against Nadal.
So hes not a legend yet in any way....but hes separating himself from the "rest of the field" And to me, Andy Murray is still in the "rest of the field " and i dont see him getting that separation soon unless his game changes drastically or eliminates the mental errors he makes in between matches consistently.

But regardless of what you say, Murray being a point away from being down 2-0 is just as big ( if not bigger ) a comeback than Djoker being down a break in the second set and coming back and winning that set ( and the match ).
Ferrer didn't choke. Murray pulled out a HUGE first serve when he need it most, held serve and then won the tiebreak. The momentum of an easy tie break win then extended into the 3rd set. If Ferrer had choked, then the 4th set would not have gone to a tie-break.
I know you are on Djoker and good luck to you in the final, but dismissing Murray's win as a fluke and him being the recipient of a choke job is out of line. Ferrer was 9-0 on hardcourt going into the match and is known as a tough competitor. You have to give Murray some credit for coming back from being a point away from going 2 sets down. Not to mention that Murray has easily beaten Djoker in their last 3 appearances when Djoker was clearly the better performed player at the time.

I agree with that assessment completely. There is Federer and Nadal lengths ahead of the rest. I would rate Djoker a clear third and then Murray. Then the rest of the top 10 you could change on any given day. I am still very surprised that Soderling was ranked ahead of Murray as I think the top 4 are well above the rest.
In saying that, the Djoker and the rest of the boys need to start being a lot more consistent when it comes to their rankings belying their performances. Top 3 and 4 players are expected to make the semis as that is their ranking, Djoker does have that over Murray and has taken his #3 ranking into his tourny performances and consistency. Murray is getting there but consistency is the key.
I see nothing special in Murray's game but the guy is getting results. A guy like Tomas Berdych has it all over Murray in regards to physique and talent but he can barely get by the 4th round.
As I said before and you agreed with, there are no standout bets on this match, and with that in mind, I have to play the dog as I dont think there is too much between the two guys.
