Going with the Serb to end what has been an interesting major to start the year.  Djokovic used to be one of my least favourite with his lazy pompous attitude.  However, he has been playing much more aggressive of late and I am actually starting to enjoy watching his matches.  People are thinking that Murray is due for a win and the hot conditions are going to wear out the Djoker.  That is completely ridiculous.  Djokovic is looking fit and hasn't had to expel much energy to get to this position.  Djokovic has only one major in his career and wants this match just as bad.  He is a winner as he has already won 1 major and stepped up to lead his nation to a Davis Cup title.  When Murray played Dolgo, he got flustered when Dolgo stepped up his game to play aggressive tennis.  Ferrer really tested Murray as well.  Murray tends to fall back into his passive mode when he gets pressured by an opponent.  Djokovic is going to run Murray all around the court.  The difference between Djokovic and Dolgo and Ferrer is that Djokovic will be able to sustain his game for the majority of the match.  Djokovic beat FEDERER IN STRAIGHT SETS.  Djokovic took care of Berdych as well.  Murray hasn't really beaten any impressive players and will be tested tonight.  I don't think Djokovic will be denied tonight.

murray i think personally tanked the first set after game 6-7 and just conserved himself for set 2...in which he played normally....ferrer making tons of errors and murray breaking him.

you fail to mention when Fed was up 5-2 in set 2 of their match and the sheer will and determination for Djokovic to come back and show the killer instinct.,.......

Murrays been there twice losing to Federer  on both occaisions in 2008 us open and 2010 australian open. Secondly i never said Djokovic was a "legend" i merely stated hes establishing myself into that category.....as NOT AN ANDY MURRAY ., NOT SOMEONE WHO CONSTANTLY LOSES GRAND SLAMS LET ALONE MAKE THEM. actually i didnt bet ferrer at all...i bet murray in that match...and pushed on the games handicap. I would never have taken that much juice (-425) on someone that unproven.....even though i knew deep in my heart ferrer didnt belong there...he merely replaced nadal who would have dummied andy murray anyways lol

I appreciate the good tennis discussion you are bringing to the table.  Djokovic does give up on a lot of matches.  However that's when it's blazing hot and he knows he has no chance to win.  This is the Australian Open, he will collapse on the court and keep going to get this title.  Don't think for 1 second that Murray wants it more.

This angle that the title means more to Murray puzzles me.  Djokovic is playing amazing right now and wants it so bad.  He could have easily thrown away that 2nd set down 5-2 to Fed.  He was not rattled and has so much confidence right now.  Murray was taken aback in the 3rd against Dolgo and Ferrer really tested Murray.  Djokovic will put pressure on him the whole match.

why not?  Djokovic has won clutch do or die matches (against Tsonga and Federe in his run and in Davis Cup in the past) and is playing better right now.  Djokovic also has gained some fans in Australia so it won't be a partial crowd.  Murray has the demons and whole United Kingdom to balance on his shoulder.  The loud Serbians in the crowd will make their presence felt as well.  Murray hasn't won anything important and often looked at his press box for answers when struggling in the last 2 matches.
