What I'm hearing is that Badosa was feeling pretty good but then was lurking this thread and decided she didn't want to get embarrassed
Dork!!

Even with as bad as BHM has been I think I'd take her ML if she was playing Iga on this court tonight. No way Iga would be able to handle the distractions. Someone phone the Brazilians and tell them Svit is 1/4 Brazilian.

I'm really surprised to see Raducanu as a larger underdog to Pegula than Kostyuk was yesterday. Kostyuk has beaten her before but her playing style matches up with Pegs much worse than Raducanu's does. I have mostly tried to avoid going against JPeg since last summer but Raducanu's aggressive style is quite similar to the type of player that Pegula typically loses to in the later rounds of tournaments.
Obviously all of this is contingent on Raducanu maintaining her current form for another match. But it was around this time last year when she started to string together some good results and now she's played four good matches in a row without showing any signs of a dip.

Still 24 hours from match time so would love to hear any counterarguments or concurring opinions.
