Ruff first week here, first Fils losing from 5-1, tank from Baez after winning 1st set 6-1 then TB loss by the #1 seeds dabrowski and routlife....
But new week, now the mens double starts as well.
We kick of with
Bolelli, Vavassori + Heliövaara, Patten 10 units Bolelli, Vavassori 2-0 5 units
Heliövaara, Patten 2-0 5 units.
Bolelli, Vavassori
Quterfinal here last year so have points to defent they are 24/11 on clay together, reached the final in French Open last year and won Bounes Aires, they only lost in the 1st round 2 times in 8 clay tournaments last year.
They have combined almost 400 clay double wins (395) vs Salisbury, Skupski who has less than 150 clay wins in total and are 5-4 together.
Heliövaara, Patten
Heliövaara and Patte are 23-4 on clay now, won both Lyon and Marrakech on clay last year, and AO this year. Very solid, they only lost one 1st round match.
Can't see Bhambri, Galloway who have only played together once before (0-1) take their first win together agianst the #3 & #4 in the world.

@mackmach Anthony smith folded like a cheap suit in his retirement fight tonight for 6k payout that would have changed my life. I feel your pain
No hating - but if you struggle so much financially that 6k can change your life - you shouldn’t be betting bro - betting is for people that has money to burn - this is not to brag but I have had days where I lost 1000 to 1 shots where I had 100k riding on it - and still ended up losing - I threw my keyboard into the wall and then it was business as usual - you can’t be affected by stuff like that

@Calde13 Was painful especially when you thought you had a fighting chance already only to be ripped apart in the final set
Of course you are 100% right - I also feel pain when stuff like that happens — else you're a robot — but the better you can detach yourself from the money values you bet and win/lose, the better you'll become at this. It's also one of the reasons many pro sports bettors operate in units, even when doing their own accounting, because it detaches you from money values. (so you don't go "I just lost a car" etc. you go "I lost 15 units" - then it doesn't sound that bad and you don't get affected the same way in your next bet)
And you should never bet if you can't afford it, since the industry is based on the idea that most people will lose money over time. 6000 USD is not a lot of money in general that is probably what you earn in 1-2 months in a normal job, so that amount shouldn't be life-changing for anyone who still chooses to bet, in my opinion - then you should save the money you have and put it towards a safer "investment".
