Neither player is strongest on clay. With Jovic it's more about her inexperience on the surface but she's shown signs of improvement this season with the most recent example being the revenge match against Navarro.

If it was on hardcourt I would have given Jovic close to no chance of winning - on clay - I would say it is pretty close to a coinflip with Jovic the slight favourite - Osaka is not just &ldquo; much worse on clay&rdquo; - she is effectively a different player - even though she has improved massively in recent years
