This should be a great matchup to start the day. Jess has been playing excellent so far winning all 3 matches in straight sets and was only challenged in one set. Iga seems to have found her dominant clay form back only dropping a set to McNally in the round of 64.
The h2h goes back to all the way back to 2019, but Jess has won their last two matches in straight sets and Iga won the one before that 6-0 6-1. None of those matches were on clay tho.
With Iga starting to play like is expected of her again and Jess cruising through Rome and having a 9-1 clay record so far this year, I don't see this one being a lopsided match like their last few meetings. my only concern is Iga is defiinitely eager to get some revenge after losing those last 2 matches.
But I really like Jpeg +4.5 at -128 and am gonna roll with that.
I was also thinking of o2.5 sets but taking o21.5 at -106 instead for a bit of extra safety.
Or Iga could just show up and win 6-1 6-2
