If zverev beat alcaraz, who would have been favored between him and djokovic?

Who cares. This is 2 weeks late. Lol. 

Well stuff like this is ok good to think about if you want to practise your skills at setting the odds for a match (because it forces you to think on the factors that are important)  - but it is very hard to answer your question really - because it would depend in what way Zverev would have won over Alcaraz - would he have won in straight sets - would he win a coin flip in tiebreak 5th set or would he win by Alcaraz forfeiting with an injury ?

 
If he just like Djokovic would have won a close 5th set match - Djokovic would have been a slight favourite versus Zverev - just due to their experience or lack thereof of winning a GS finale - Zverev is almost famous for not being able to stand for the pressure - which the market of course is aware of and would price in 

Zverev and Djokovic isn’t far enough from each other skill wise (in Djokovic older ages) that stuff like how he won - wouldn’t change who of the two would be underdog —- Djokovic had also just won over Sinner which the market price around equal to Alcaraz

I almost never watch the odds for a match before I have set my own odds for all the matches being played - as soon as you see the market odds - your opinion is affected which makes it way harder to find value 

So it is not a stupid skill to practise
