Putintseva is pretty good in the Singles, coming off a straight set win in the Singles

That alone just gives me vibes that she will be good in a doubles match and win this as a live dog

and that Wang on the Wang/Zheng is coming off the defeat to Baby Emma tonight... that might help Putintseva/Wang. Match is suspended however, so will wait for it to resume before making the play

If you haven’t betted yet - I would find more reasons to bet if I were you - there isn’t any merit to the assumption that good singles players make good double players - you should almost treat it as two completely different games  

ofcourse it isn’t a disadvantage to be good at Singles - but what skills make a good double player are completely different

 I was just using the idea that Wang came off a loss to Navarro and might be a little sad, and to have to quickly turn around for a doubles match and focus to win can be challenging

True but it can also make her fired up to focus and do well in doubles - it is also ok - it is your money and your bet and you could of course just as well be right - just trying to give the other side of the coin
