Krause  (Wiesbaden ITF)

Avanesyan won this tournament back in 2023 and beat Krause 6-1 6-1 in the semi. That was the last tournament Avanesyan won 3 years ago.

In that time Krause have won 10 clay tournaments, 46 clay wins and 5 tornuments won only last seasons, and is coming here from a strong week in Madrid, beating Popatova 2-1 and won first set 6-2 against Pliskova but last to her in the end. 

 Avanesyan is 12-9 this year and haven't been her self since her injury, last year she was 12-16, can see her beat Krause, can't see anyone beat Krause this week, she will win her first title of the year here. 

Arevalo, Pavic 

The odds suggest this is a 50/50 match, but it's more a 70-30 for me on clay.

Heliövaara, Patten have only wone two 250 clay events back in 2024, no success since then and already 2 matches this year as heavy favorites. 

Arevalo, Pavic are clay specialist, won French open 2024, reached the final her last year and won Rome last year. Have reached at least semi final in 9 out of 12 clay tournaments they played together. 

They have more than 400 clay wins between them vs Heliövaara, Patten 180 clays wins.

Zverev 2-0 

Zverev will get his revenge from his Munich exit today. Zverev always plays bad in Germany, he said himself he's a bit nervous playing on home soil, and haven't won anything there since 2018, with a lot of early exits. Before that game Zverev had not lost a set against Cobolli (5-0).

I think he will get back to his winning way, he knows why he lost last week, and will adjust his play and be ready for this one.

Baptiste have played over 5h in her last two games, can't see her be ready for this and also a lot of time after their biggest win, they will be poor the next match.

While Baptiste has played her best tennis already, we haven't seen the best of Andreeva yet, she played really solid in her double yesterday and I think we will see a much better match than her last 2 today.

she also won easy against Baptiste on grass, so won't be surprised if she takes this in two.
