From what I have seen all this week so far, Ella Seidel has the game to hang with Gracheva and to keep it close. This week already she has beaten Emma Navarro and Kesseler who IMHO are both better than Gracheva, so from what I have seen, she won’t be intimated or overwhelmed by Gracheva’s game.
Magda Linette beat Kudermetova in Doha in February; she lost the 1st set 6-3 then won the 2nd set 6-0 and won the match 6-4 in the 3.
She beat J. Pegula yesterday 6-3 in the 3………….Shes 33 yrs old and at this stage of her career she's a seasoned experienced journey woman, so I’m sure that I’ll get maximum effort from her today and she'll use every tool in her toolbox to keep it competitive and close to allow herself a chance to upset Kudermetova again.
As always, in betting on women’s matches you never know what you’ll get, but today I feel good about my choices.
