Inglis, Maddison
McNally, Catherine -333
My plan today is to do a series of 2 team parlays all tied to C. McNally.
Caty McNally -333 is the “Key ‘Player………..
I am still handicapping and looking at the 2 players that I will select in the 2 team parley’s to go with McNally.
My aim like everyone else’s is to make some money today, all while having a bit of fun & enjoying the tennis also.
However, if she Lose’s, all my wagers are gone, I truly don’t think that this will be the case today though.
Caty McNally ranked # 104 will most likely enter the top 100 somewhere when the next rankings come out.
I feel extremely confident in McNally, however the -333 juice has me looking to partner her with others.
McNally has an overall 38-14 win-loss record so far in 2025 and she’s 13-5 on hard courts. She has a positive overall record of 77-62 on hard courts in her career.
From Wimbledon until now She is 13-2. She beat J. Burrage in the 1 round and then lost in 3 sets to Iga Swiatek. She was the only player to take Iga to 3 sets.
She has won 2 tournaments since Wimbledon. The grass court ladies' event at Newport winning 5 matches and she just won a wta100 event in Evansville Indiana on July 27 winning 5 matches and she got to the 3 round last week in Montreal at a WTA 1000 event losing to Madison Keys in 3 sets.
She now comes home to her own hometown WTA 1000 event as a wild card entrant.
She lives only 11 miles from Mason, Ohio where the event is held in Cincinnati.
She has exactly 7and a half days’ rest and she’s fresh, rejuvenated and has been sleeping in her own bed and eating good food, surrounded by family and friends. More importantly these 7 days has given her time to come down so to speak from her decent grass & summer hard court season so far and from the high of winning a tourney and partying & hanging out with family and friends at home in Maderia.
Note* last week Leyla Fernandez won the WTA 500 in Washington and from playing her best tennis (IMHO) since she lost the US Open final. She goes straight home on Sunday and plays her 1 round match in Montreal (her hometown) and loses on Tuesday against a player she would normally beat 8 out of 10 times. She lost easily. Thats why I like that Caty has had over 7 days to calm down and relax and refocus.
McNally has fully recovered from her injured elbow surgery in early 2024. She’s fit and happy.
McNally is only 23 yrs old however she has great experience and gotten to the US Open finals in doubles twice, once with coco gauff and once with taylor Townsend. Losing both times.
Her opponent today is Australian 27 yr old Madison Inglis ranked #153.
She had to come back from being down in both matches to pick up two wins in qaulifying in 3 setters this week, beating Parrizas Dias and Zakharova both to gain entry into the main draw. Spending over 4 hours on court already.
Most of her time has been spent over the last 3 years playing ITF and 125K events.
H2H Caty leads 1-0 ………….Caty won a 3 setter against her in a qualifying match back in 2022.
I think that this is a good 1 round draw for Caty, a match to help her get settled into her hometown tourney and give her extra confidence going forward. I think that she will win in straight sets.
Inglis is right-handed with a two handed backhand, so she’s no lefty or has any game anything that possibly could throw Caty a niggle or anything. She has no real weapons to endanger or get Caty rattled or flustered.
I’m running errands today and hopefully I’ll have time to post the parlays throughout the day in this thread.
