Holger is like the only player on tour that can compete with Sinner and Alcaraz - I am sorry you lost money - I am sure you have accomplished more in life than this 22 year old guy  doesn’t mean you are genius for taking him as a big favorite versus a “nobody” because it ironically is those matches he most often lose

 His days of competing with Sinner are over. Last time he beat him was in 2023 when Sinner was still losing Slam matches to Tsits, Altmaier & Zverev. Sinner started out 0-2 in the H2H & he's now 3-2. FAA was 2-0 vs Sinner before yesterday & Rune would've had a similar scoreline if he beat Atmane & played him in the SFs. Wouldn't be any different vs Alca. Only reason he beat him in the Barca Final was the fatigue factor finally caught up with Alca: it was his 10th match in 12 days after winning Monte Carlo the wk before 

And what has Felix done? He is also a good player that clearly don't belong in WTA - then Taylor Fritz also do - He also lost to Rune's opponent - you guys argumentation are so fucking bad it is unreal - again it sucks that you lost on him - and he didn't play well yesterday - there he would have lost to Serena Williams in her prime - but lets be real

I am not questioning if Holger is as good as Alcaraz or Sinner because he most certainly isn't - but he is easily top 5 player on tour when he plays his best - the problem is - he doesn't do that often

And even though I am Danish - I hate Holger - I hate his attitude - I hate his behaviour towards Tauson (but I am not surprised Gentofte foster the most annoying and spoiled people known to man) So I would be one of the first people to join the choir if I thought all the hate was deserved

What did he do to Tauson?

No one is in the remote ballpark of sinner and alcaraz to even say rune can “compete” with those two is laughable, he can beat just about anyone else though. Those two will be levels above the field unless someone new comes along 

I am not sure there is bad blood between them but I personally dont like what he did - because it is not very Danish like to behave like that around your friends or women in general actually

Background:

They are childhood friends - they were born in the same Danish town and have been playing together since age 8 or 9 I think 

The controversy:

Holger quickly rises to fame and pretty much book his first “big” tournament win within his first month or two on the ATP scene - and pretty much kill it the first year of playing - might be up there for fastest million earned in ATP history

Tauson has another “road to fame” - she enters and pretty much fail every single tournament - one of them it is her health - then it something else etc. - not Holgers problem I get that - 

Then when Tauson is all down - has no money, has no coach, has no anything -then she wants their childhood trainer Lars - he basically is like hi Tauson I know you don’t have any money so I can pretty much coach you for free and then pay me back when you get some money 

After knowing this Holger comes in and buy him - not for her - but as his second coach - and as a last fuck you - he also decline playing double with Clara - something they have done for years at this point quoting it is because she doesn’t have a coach and goes with Wozniacki instead 

I didn’t mean it like he is as good as them - but he almost always take a set from them and he has won versus both etc. which in itself is out of the ordinary - can it be counted on one hand - the amount of players that have beaten Alcaraz in a finale and never lost in straight sets to Sinner - it is like the big 4 also had Andy Murray in it - even though everyone knew it was the three others that dominated - I would agree with you guys that the stars really have to align for Holger beating either of those two in a GS - but he would be one of my main candidates to do so - if I had to pick one

 Jesus, that's brutal.  I wasn't really a fan of his before because he exudes prick behavior but it sounds like it's not speculation.

I would suppose he is even bigger a prick than you can even imagine a human being can be like ! Most of the kids Gentofte foster is like this unfortunately - it is spoiled rich kids that are taught to trumble over others for own personal gains - it is basically our version of Wall Street for kids - I have had the misfortune to spend the first 16 years of my life there - so I have actually also both met and played Holger before myself (in his junior years) - so I know some of his bad sides - but also know how well he plays and winner mentality he does have
