XBOX 360 vs PS3

Everyone I know also has a 360 but I bought a ps3.  Despite what you may believe if you want high def dvd (blu-ray) and wireless, the ps3 is cheaper.  I plan on using it as my home entertainment centre.  You can install Linux (and other OS's apparently) and you can virtually operate your ps3 system like a PC.  I plan on buying a wireless keyboard and mouse I can use with it.  I will no longer have to burn TV shows onto dvd's, I can play mp3's through my home theatre, and play video games.  Of course there are more games for the 360, they had a year head start.  As far as quality read some 360 forums and how many 360's have completely crashed with the 3 red lights of death.  And as far as online play check out the video for Playstation Home  Home is about to start beta testing I believe and is set to be open to everyone in October '07.

HALO 3

it depends what you want to use the console for.

if its strictly gaming, then its a no brainer... get the xbox 360
if you are moderately interested in high def movies, but primarily gaming.... stick with the xbox360, much better for games, plus you can add on the hd dvd drive, and rumors are a blu-ray drive will be available later on

if you have a keen interest in high def movies right now, go with the ps3.
