SlingBox WAN speeds

Hey guys, I figure alot of you have a SlingBox so my question is this.

 

Do you seem to find there is a cap on your speed when your away from home?

 

My home internet speed is 20/5, perfect for the application's I need.

 

When I am home I always get around 3 - 4mbps but when I travel I always top out around 1.1mbps.

 

 

This is fine for watching normal TV but for watching Football or Hockey (anything with alot of sudden action) it lags.

 

Anything I can do in the settings or something else to get some more speed out of my Box?

I use the SlingPlayer Mobile on my BlackBerry Curve 8330 BUT it's a pain in the ass to be honest.

 

SPM does not support the 8330, but there is a way to get it to work. To be honest I dont use it on my phone all that often anyway.

 

But if you want this just for that reason youn should know it's a minor pain to use it on the 8330 if thats what you have.

And yes, I am ready for Pre-Season Football!

 

I  am having a problem with connection away from my home.  At home, the damn thing works just fine on my laptop.  I get a nice picture with high bandwith.  But for some reason, since I switched computers, I cannot get it to connect when I'm away from my house.  Any ideas?
